PHI RB Miles Sanders - Week 10 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 10 at New York Giants
Miles Sanders hasn't played since October 18th but is expected to return to the field for Philly. Before the injury, he was putting up great fantasy numbers. If he is 100% after the bye week, those numbers could return, but expect the Eagles to be cautious and maybe give Boston Scott some of those third-down snaps.

Sanders faces the Giants who are 20th in aFPA to running backs. He missed the first meeting between the two teams, but the Eagles offense should put up a lot of points and yardage.

Start Sanders as an RB1 in standard leagues but he drops to a high-end RB2 in PPR leagues. We expect Scott to be more involved in the passing game to limit Sanders' snaps in his return.

PHI RB Miles Sanders - Week 6 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 6 vs. Baltimore
The two touchdowns and 80 yards rushing made it a good day for Miles Sanders owners. However, take into consideration that 74 yards came on one run. It counts, but it also means he rushed 10 other times for six yards. The 13 touches against Pittsburgh was also a season-low. What we take from this is Sanders is capable of making big plays but it is also a red flag that Philly's offense is still not reliable.

Sanders will face the Ravens defense which is eighth in aFPA to running backs. This run defense is even better than Pittsburgh, but the Eagles will make an effort to get more touches for him and that should produce more consistent numbers.

Start Sanders as a low-end RB1 for Week 6. Despite the tough matchup, Sanders is the best offensive weapon overall for the Eagles and I am including Zach Ertz.

PHI RB Miles Sanders - Week 5 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 5 at Pittsburgh
It was Miles Sanders worst fantasy performance of the young season as he failed to reach 100 yards from scrimmage for the first time this year and did not reach the end zone for the second straight game. His touches also dropped from 23 and 22 the first two games to 15. Not sure why the Eagles aren't leaning on their best overall player when the team is struggling on offnese.

Sanders will face his hometown team the Steelers on Sunday who are ranked 16th in aFPA to running backs. Pittsburgh's defense has been very good and that ranking is deceiving.

We don't like the matchup and don't like where the Eagles offense is right now despite getting their first win of the season last Sunday. Sanders still deserves a start for Week 5 but only as a low-end RB2 which is not where most owners were expecting him to be any time this season.

PHI RB Miles Sanders - Week 4 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 4 at San Francisco
The Eagles offense has struggled but Miles Sanders has been a bright spot. He is averaging 95 rushing yards per game and 3.5 receptions per game. Expect Philly to get him even more involved in the passing game with TE Dallas Goedert. Philadelphia also needs to help their struggling quarterback with a safer passing game.

Sanders will face the Niners who are ranked 15th in aFPA to running backs. San Fran is banged up, but the defense is still very formidable. Expect them to focus on Sanders.

Start Sanders as a low-end RB1 for Week 4. We expect Philadelphia to continue to ride their best offensive player. The numbers should be there again this week against the 49ers.

PHI RB Miles Sanders - Week 3 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 3 vs. Cincinnati
After missing Week 1, Miles Sanders proved how valuable he is in this offense and what kind of production he is capable of. He ended up with 23 touches for 131 yards and a touchdown. He was also targeted seven times which gives you an indication that is going to be a true three-down back and everyone knows the Eagles love throwing to their running backs and tight ends.

Sanders has a great matchup against a poor defense. The Bengals are ranked 27th in aFPA to running backs. Cincy hasn't solved any of their issues on that side of the ball and we saw what an average Cleveland offense did to them last week.

Start Sanders in all leagues and formats. He is a sold RB1 for Week 3 and might even give you a top 5 fantasy running back performance. We expect the Eagles offense to find it's way again and this would be a good week to start.

PHI RB Miles Sanders - Week 2 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 2 vs Los Angeles Rams
Miles Sanders didn't make the trip to Washington last week and it hurt the running game and especially hurt the Eagles in the second half with the lead. Sanders is expected to have a big season and be a major part of the Philly offense.

The Eagles face the Rams who are 13th in aFPA to running backs. They have to find a way to get the running game going and we think Sanders will at least get the touches in his season debut.

Start Sanders as a low-end RB2 for Week 2. The Eagles have the potential for the offense to be really good, and if that happens, Sanders will be a huge beneficiary.

PHI RB Miles Sanders - Week 1 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 1 at Washington
There were many questions about Miles Sanders' role as a rookie before the 2019 season started. He ended up being a solid fantasy player and should even be more improved considering he is now their definitive No. 1 back. He is well-rounded in both the running and passing game.

Sanders will face a Washington offense that was ranked 30th in aFPA to running backs in 2019. He had his only 100-yard rushing game against them and added 50 yards receiving and two total touchdowns.

Expect some big games from Sanders this season and the matchup with Washington is very favorable. For Week 1, we rank him as a low-end RB1. Philly has a chance to have one of the best offenses in the NFL and Sanders could benefit from that.
