Patriots RB Rex Burkhead (knee) missed practice again Thursday. If Burkhead sits, look for Mike Gillislee to get another chance to tote the ball. Gillislee has been on the shelf since Week 9, but his snaps really started to dry up after he fumbled in Week 6. Dion Lewis will serve as the lead back, but Gillislee could see 8-10 carries in a great matchup against the Bills, who are last in the league in RB aFPA.

Heading into the MRI, the Patriots believe RB Rex Burkhead suffered a sprained knee, along with a bruise from a player landing on it.

Fantasy Impact:

The key thing here is, obviously, there is no torn ACL. Rapoport's tweet went on to say the early hope is for a return for the playoffs. However, that means he's likely not back for the rest of the regular season. This very well could mean Gillislee is back in the fold, but it seems like Lewis and White should see an increased workload, especially Lewis who has most recently been the team's main ball carrier.
