WAS TE Logan Thomas - Week 11 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 11 vs. Cincinnati Bengals

Logan Thomas finished 4-66 on five targets last week. Thomas has been far from dominant this season, but he's had a solid season considering the circumstances. The six-year veteran has put up career highs in receptions, receiving yards and touchdowns. He's averaging 3.1 receptions for 33.6 yards on the season, which isn't great, but it's better than a lot of tight ends. And with his somewhat consistent production, Thomas can be viewed as a viable low-end TE1 this week against the Bengals (No. 29 aFPA).

WAS TE Logan Thomas - Week 10 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 10 at Detroit Lions

Logan Thomas finished 3-28 on six targets last week. Thomas is averaging a healthy 5.8 targets per game this season, but is averaging less than 30 yards. At this point, he's mostly a touchdown-dependent tight end. Thomas faces a Lions defense this week that has allowed the fourth-fewest total receptions to tight ends so far this season. He's not much more than a desperation streamer in Week 10.

WAS TE Logan Thomas - Week 9 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 9 vs. New York Giants

Logan Thomas started the season strong, then had a two-game dry spell, but has returned to being valuable, scoring in his previous two games. We can somewhat expect the type of production Thomas will have, considering he's seen four targets in four straight games. Thomas is a touchdown-dependent tight end option in Week 9 as he faces a Giants defense that's allowed two touchdowns to the tight end position all season.

WAS TE Logan Thomas - Week 7 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 7 vs. Dallas Cowboys

After two straight disappointing one-catch games, Logan Thomas bounced back with a 3-42-1 game. The weird part is his role didn't change much as he played a similar amount of offensive snaps (percentage-wise) and the same number of targets in each game (4). Thomas is a tough player to trust given his two bust games prior to last week. He's a risky TE2 play in Week 7 against the Cowboys (No. 25 aFPA).

WAS TE Logan Thomas - Week 6 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 6 at New York Giants

Logan Thomas saw four targets last week, but finished with just four yards on one catch. He's now been held to one reception in back-to-back games, which is an upsetting trend for someone who had a strong start to the season. He gets a tough matchup this week against the Giants, who have allowed the fifth-fewest receptions and the sixth-fewest receiving yards to tight ends. Even worse, the Giants haven't given up a touchdown to a tight end all season. Thomas isn't much than a desperation play at this point.

WAS TE Logan Thomas - Week 5 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 5 vs. Los Angeles Rams

Logan Thomas had his worst game of the season last week, finishing with just one reception for eight yards. He also saw a season-low four targets. The low target number is especially concerning considering Washington threw the ball a season-high 45 times in that game. He gets a solid matchup this week against the Rams, who have allowed the eighth-most receptions to tight ends this season. But Thomas also gets a new quarterback in Kyle Allen this week. Thomas is bordering on TE1 territory for Week 5.

WAS TE Logan Thomas - Week 4 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 4 vs. Baltimore Ravens

Logan Thomas finished with his third straight four-reception game last week, this time totaling 31 yards. Thomas has seen at least seven targets in every game this season, but is only averaging about 30 yards per game. It's a strange mix of seeing a lot of volume while not doing much with it. Still, four receptions each week is consistent enough to make Thomas a low-end TE1 play. He faces a Ravens defense that has given up the fifth-most receptions to tight ends so far this season, so it's a pretty good matchup for Thomas.
