MIN WR K.J. Osborn - Week 17 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 17 at Packers

K.J. Osborn returns to fantasy relevance following the season-ending injury to Adam Thielen. We've seen Osborn put up strong production early in the season, with five games with 60+ yards. He's on the FLEX radar this week, but just like everyone else in this passing game, we need to temper our expectations due to the cold weather.

MIN WR K.J. Osborn - Week 15 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 15 at Bears

K.J. Osborn was everyone's favorite WR streamer last week and he delivered, finishing with three catches, 83 yards, and a touchdown. His fantasy day was saved by his 62-yard touchdown late in the game, but you have to love his ability to make explosive plays. Osborn has now scored touchdowns in consecutive games. He's also racked up 16 targets during that span. Consider him on the WR3/4 fringe this week.

MIN WR K.J. Osborn - Week 14 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 14 vs Steelers

K.J. Osborn immediately becomes a fantasy-relevant wide receiver in Adam Thielen's absence. The Vikings should have a condensed target share between Justin Jefferson, K.J. Osborn, and Tyler Conklin. Osborn caught 4-of-7 targets for 47 yards and a touchdown against the Lions last week.

The second-year wide receiver out of Miami can be fired up as an upside WR3 in this spot given how efficient this Minnesota passing game has been. The Steelers defense is no longer an imposing unit that suppresses fantasy production, so make sure to scoop Osborn off your waiver wire for this exploitable matchup.

MIN WR K.J. Osborn - Week 3 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 3 vs. Seahawks

Osborn has been one of the biggest surprises of the season so far, catching 12-of-15 targets for 167 yards and a touchdown. He's playing on 71.53% of the snaps with an 18.99% target share, so it's clear that the Vikings have moved towards more 3-WR sets, which bodes well for Osborn's outlook going forward. You also have to like how he's second on the team with 118 air yards.

Osborn can be considered an upside WR4, especially in full-PPR formats because his 7.9 average target depth will give him opportunities to rack up shorter receptions. You can also use him in DFS if you want to stack players in this projected shootout, especially in tournaments, since players will gravitate towards Jefferson or Thielen.
