Scouting report

PHI QB Jalen Hurts - Week 11 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 11 at Indianapolis Colts
Despite the loss, Jalen Hurts was still responsible for three touchdowns. The passing yards were under 200 for the second time in the last four games and he was under 30 rushing yards for the fourth straight game. Not time to panic just yet, but the strong numbers early in the season have taken a step backwards.

Hurts faces the Colts who are ranked 21st in aFPA to quarterbacks. Even though he hasn't put up MVP numbers lately, he still is getting good fantasy numbers for managers.

This a favorable matchup for the Eagles and Hurts. Start him as a top-5 fantasy quarterback for Week 11. We expect a bounce-back game and for him to start running better this week.

PHI QB Jalen Hurts - Week 10 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 10 vs. Washington Commanders
Jalen Hurts continues to prosper and continues to win. He threw for 243 yards and two touchdowns without an interception. The running stats have been down the past couple weeks but overall he is still playing good football.

Hurts faces the Commanders who are ranked 24th in aFPA to quarterbacks. This is a good matchup at home for the Eagles so expect a big game for Hurts. He was outstanding in the first meeting with Washington this season throwing for 340 yards and three touchdowns.

Start Hurts as a top-5 fantasy quarterback for Week 10. The Eagles should roll again on Monday and his numbers should be similar to recent weeks.

PHI QB Jalen Hurts - Week 9 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 9 at Houston Texans
Jalen Hurts made it look easy on Sunday completing 68% of his passes for 285 yards and four touchdowns. There was no falloff after the bye week and he continues to play at a high level. He rushed for a season-low 10 yards but that was because there was no reason for him to run.

The Eagles have a short week and head to Houston for a Thursday night contest. The Texans are ranked 6th in aFPA to quarterbacks. Despite the tough road matchup, Philly should continue their run and Hurts should thrive once again.

Start Hurts as one of the top fantasy quarterbacks for Week 9. Until someone slows the Eagles down, his fantasy stock will continue to be high and we expect big numbers despite a quick turnaround.

PHI QB Jalen Hurts - Week 8 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 8 vs. Pittsburgh Steelers
It was the worst fantasy outing of the season based on yardage for Jalen Hurts last week as he was held to 155 yards passing and 27 yards rushing. However, he did throw two touchdown passes in the Eagles win. So even in his worst game of 2022, he still was able to get managers some fantasy points.

Hurts faces the Steelers who are ranked 23rd in aFPA to quarterbacks. Pittsburgh's defense has been better in recent weeks but still is missing T.J. Watt and has some injury issues in the secondary.

Start Hurts as a top-5 fantasy quarterback for Week 8. It should be a big day at home for him and especially with his wide receivers who will have mismatches on the outside.

PHI QB Jalen Hurts - Week 6 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 6 vs. Dallas Cowboys
It was a strange fantasy day for Jalen Hurts who threw for 239 yards but zero touchdowns in the Eagles win. However, it was the legs of Hurts that scored two touchdowns to go along with 61 yards rushing. That's where Hurts' strength was last season as he struggled with the passing stats.

Hurts faces the Cowboys this Sunday night who are ranked 5th in aFPA to quarterbacks. Last season, he only faced Dallas once but threw for 326 yards and two touchdowns in a loss. He also threw two interceptions. It was one of two 300+ passing yard games of the 2021 season.

Start Hurts in all leagues and formats as a top 5 fantasy quarterback. Despite the tough matchup and a slight hiccup last week with the passing game, he is playing at a different level this season and we feel that will continue.

PHI QB Jalen Hurts - Week 5 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 5 at Arizona Cardinals
Jalen Hurts had his worst fantasy outing of the season with only 204 passing yards and 38 rushing yards. He produced only a rushing touchdown and also threw a pick. No need to panic as it was an off day, but if we start seeing more of them, the critics will be out in full force.

Hurts takes to the road to play Arizona who is ranked 21st in aFPA to quarterbacks. The Eagles overall are playing as good as anyone and they should have another good offensive game again this week.

Start Hurts as a top-five fantasy quarterback for Week 5. Expect him to get back on track in the passing attack against a below-average defense.

PHI QB Jalen Hurts - Week 4 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 4 vs. Jacksonville Jaguars
Jalen Hurts had his best game of the year in the Eagles dismantling of the Vikings. He threw for 340 yards and 3 touchdowns with zero interceptions. The rushing yards were his lowest of the season at 20, but you will take that with the increased passing stats. Hurts is playing at a high level right now because his passing skills have gotten better.

Hurts faces the Jaguars who are ranked 3rd in aFPA to quarterbacks. The young Jacksonville defense has improved since last season and has helped them win two games to start the season. This is not an easy matchup for the Eagles offense.

Start Hurts as a high-end QB1 for Week 4 as we have him ranked ahead of everyone but Josh Allen. We don't expect the passing yards to be as high as last week but the rushing numbers should go back up and Philly should score a lot of points.
