Scouting report

LV WR Jakobi Meyers - Week 9 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 9 at Cincinnati Bengals

The Bengals have been very generous to opposing wide receivers. That's welcome news for Jakobi Meyers' managers. Only the Patriots and a Malik Nabers-less Giants team had their top wide receiver fall short of 15 PPR points against this defense.

Meyers is our WR29 so he's firmly in the flex conversation with a solid matchup.

LV WR Jakobi Meyers - Week 8 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 8 vs Kansas City Chiefs

Jakobi Meyers makes his triumphant return this week as the team's WR1. He hasn't played since the first week in October.

Kansas City can be thrown on with capable quarterbacking and a functioning offense. The question is whether or not Las Vegas has either. Five wide receivers have cracked 14 PPR points against the Chiefs' secondary so far this season. At WR43, you likely have better options but there's some hope.

LV WR Jakobi Meyers - Week 6 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 6 vs Pittsburgh Steelers

Jakobi Meyers is right on the cusp of WR3 territory in this matchup. The Pittsburgh Steelers have allowed four wide receivers to crack 80 receiving yards this season. Since the start of last year, there's been a wide receiver that hit that threshold in over 60% of their games.

LV WR Jakobi Meyers - Week 5 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 5 at Denver Broncos

Jakobi Meyers looks like he'll become the WR1 for Las Vegas this weekend. Davante Adams is unlikely to play due to his trade request.

With that being said, he's the WR37 this week. Meyers has had blow up games before, but typically as the secondary option. Ideally, he'd have Adams drawing most of the attention away. When a WR1 goes out, it's not the same situation as when RB1s leave the field. He's in the flex conversation but we should have tempered expectations.

LV WR Jakobi Meyers - Week 4 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 3 vs Cleveland Browns

Jakobi Meyers is our WR42. He's a hard one to project but his ceiling is so high that he'll land in the flex conversation weekly.

Meyers only has 17 targets on the season but he's hauling in over 80% of his targets and is a threat to break a long one every time he touches the ball.

LV WR Jakobi Meyers - Week 2 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 1 at Baltimore Ravens

Jakobi Meyers barely sneaks into the top 50 at the position this week. He's coming off of a three-catch performance where he gained 61 yards.

The Raiders should be playing from behind for most of the day, but it's hard to trust his workload at this stage. You likely have better options on your roster.

LV WR Jakobi Meyers - Week 1 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 1 at Los Angeles Chargers

Jakobi Meyer is right on the cusp of being usable this week. We have him ranked as WR50 which puts him in deep league starter territory. He had plenty of explosion games last season but they weren't always predictable. Ideally, you'll have better options on your roster and be able to hold onto him.
