Scouting report

BUF WR Gabe Davis - Week 9 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 9 at Cincinnati Bengals
Gabe Davis had a season-high 12 targets that produced nine receptions. He ended up with 87 yards and a touchdown for his best fantasy outing of the season. It was his fifth touchdown reception of the season.

The Bengals are next up for Buffalo and the receivers should have a good day. Davis did not put up good numbers against Cincinnati in the playoffs with only two receptions for 34 yards.

Start Davis for Week 9, but only as a WR3 or Flex. Last week was a good sign for Davis managers, but we have been teased by him before so let's see him keep repeating those type of games before we push him up the rankings.

BUF WR Gabe Davis - Week 8 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 8 vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Gabe Davis has been quiet the last two weeks with only four receptions for 27 yards and zero touchdowns after he had scored touchdowns in four straight games. This is not unusual for him as he has disappeared at times during his career and has become unreliable as a fantasy option.

Davis does have a favorable matchup on Thursday, but the recent numbers are alarming for his managers. Keep Davis on the bench for Week 8 and wait until we see better results for the veteran receiver.

BUF WR Gabe Davis - Week 7 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 7 at New England Patriots
Gabe Davis didn't have his best game after he had been rolling the previous four weeks. He caught only three passes for 21 yards. His streak of four straight games with a touchdown ended as well.

Davis faces the Patriots who are ranked 10th in aFPA to wide receivers. He didn't do much in the two meetings last season and his strength this year has been getting in the end zone.

Start Davis as a WR3 or Flex for Week 7 and expect him put up similar catch numbers to recent weeks with around 50 receiving yards.

BUF WR Gabe Davis - Week 6 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 6 vs. New York Giants
Gabe Davis had his best game of the season with six receptions for 100 yards and a touchdown. It was the fourth straight game with a touchdown for the veteran receiver who is the second option in the passing game, but has become a favorite in the end zone for QB Josh Allen.

The Giants and their average pass defense are up next. Despite some success for Davis last week, the Bills lost the game in London, so expect Buffalo to play angry.

Start Davis for Week 6 as a solid WR3 or Flex. Allen has been playing well since Week 1 and Davis has been a beneficiary.

BUF WR Gabe Davis - Week 5 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 5 vs. Jacksonville Jaguars (London)
Gabe Davis had only three targets last week but they went for three receptions for 61 yards and a touchdown. He has now scored touchdowns in three straight games. Davis is getting his normal amount of snaps but only has seven targets over the last two games.

Davis faces the Jags in London and they have an average pass defense so far this season. The fantasy numbers have been helped by touchdowns, but the Bills will need to get him the ball more if he wants to help managers.

For Week 5, start Davis as a WR3 or Flex. He is still capable of putting up good fantasy numbers and QB Josh Allen is playing his best football right now which helps all the offensive skill players.

BUF WR Gabe Davis - Week 4 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 4 vs. Miami Dolphins
Gabe Davis was held to one reception last week, but it did go for six points. It was his second touchdown in the last two weeks. However, there are higher expectations for the Buffalo No. 2 guy. He is averaging five targets a game.

Davis has a tough matchup this Sunday against the Dolphins. He had average numbers in the regular season meetings against Miami but went off in the postseason with six catches for 113 yards and a touchdown.

For Week 4, Davis should be on the bench. Despite that big game last year, he isn't getting enough targets right now and that has limited his production, even with the touchdowns.

BUF WR Gabe Davis - Week 3 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 3 at Washington Commanders
The Bills are hoping Gabe Davis can be a major force opposite star receiver Stefon Diggs and when they see the numbers like last Sunday, they start to believe it more. Davis caught six passes for 92 yards and a touchdown. With a very good passing game, this is what Buffalo wants from him who outgained Diggs in receiving yards although that won't happen too often.

Davis faces an average Washington pass defense this week. However, we expect Buffalo to try to get Diggs more targets and that will hurt Davis' numbers a little bit.

Keep Davis on the bench for the road game in Washington this week. There are better options for Week 3 and we want to see more consistency from Davis who was up and down in 2022.
