Scouting report

BUF WR Gabe Davis - Week 17 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 17 vs. New England Patriots
Weclome back Gabe Davis - at least for one week. The veteran had zero catches in three of his previous four games until he exploded last week for four receptions for 130 yards and a touchdown. It was his first score in the last three games.

Davis had big plays, but it's hard to count on that for your fantasy playoffs considering his recent track record. Keep Davis on the bench for Week 17.

BUF WR Gabe Davis - Week 16 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 16 at Los Angeles Chargers
Gabe Davis has now gone three out of the last four games without a catch. Last week, there were only 15 passes thrown, but this issue has been ongoing for several weeks as Davis hasn't been involved in the offense.

Davis faces a bad Chargers defense so he is on the fantasy radar, but the recent outings make us hesitate to start him in any role this week. Keep Davis on the bench for Week 16.

BUF WR Gabe Davis - Week 15 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 15 vs. Dallas Cowboys
Gabe Davis had zero receptions for the third time in the last five games. Considering the offense he plays on and the expected numbers for a No. 2 receiver for the Bills, he has been a fantasy bust most weeks.

Davis has a tough matchup against the Cowboys and considering the recent results, he should remain on the bench for Week 15.

BUF WR Gabe Davis - Week 14 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 14 at Kansas City Chiefs
In their last game, Gabe Davis finally broke out of his slump with 12 targets producing six receptions for 105 yards and a touchdown. The previous three games, he had two receptions for 56 yards. It's been puzzling how he has disappeared at times this season.

Davis will face Kansas City who is ranked 19th in aFPA to wide receivers. Last season, he had three receptions for 74 yards and a touchdown in the meeting with the Chiefs.

Start Davis as a WR3 or Flex for Week 14. The offenses should be clicking and we don't expect him to disappear this game.

BUF WR Gabe Davis - Week 12 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 12 at Philadelphia Eagles
Gabe Davis had zero catches in the last three games and has not been a factor in the Bills offense. A lot of that has to do with the fact Buffalo is trying to run the ball more and the emergence of rookie TE Dalton Kincaid in the passing game.

Davis is still capable of putting up some good numbers like he did four games ago, but his numbers have been awful most weeks since early October. Keep Davis on the bench for Week 12 despite a very favorable matchup against the Eagles subpar pass defense.

BUF WR Gabe Davis - Week 11 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 11 vs. New York Jets
Gabe Davis had two receptions for 56 yards, but has been in a fantasy slump in four out of the past five games. Only against Tampa Bay did he put up good numbers and has managers scratching their heads on what his production will be each week.

Davis faces the best pass defense in the NFL. The first time he faced the Jets this season, he had two receptions for 32 yards. Expectations are low with an unfavorable matchup and the recent fantasy numbers. Keep Davis on the bench for Week 11.

BUF WR Gabe Davis - Week 10 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 10 vs. Denver Broncos
Gabe Davis is coming off a game where he had zero catches and only two targets. More alarming is that he has had three really subpar games in the last four and has been a fantasy bust over that stretch. His fantasy stock has dropped.

He will look to get back on track against an average Denver pass defense, but his teammate Khalil Shakir has been more productive over that stretch.

Davis is a borderline start for Week 10 as a WR3 or Flex. Due to recent fantasy numbers, check your roster closely to see if there is a better option.
