JAX WR Dede Westbrook - Week 14 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 14 at Tennessee Titans

Cody Kessler completed just 18 passes last Sunday versus the Colts, with seven of those going to RB T.J. Yeldon. With the conservative game plan, Dede Westbrook received five looks and finished with three catches for 25 yards. Versus Tennessee in Week 3, Westbrook caught three passes for 31 yards and should remain on your bench for the rematch, as Kessler will once again be under center.

JAX WR Dede Westbrook - Week 13 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 13 vs. Indianapolis Colts

With Blake Bortles at QB last week at Buffalo, Dede Westbrook was targeted four times, resulting in three catches for 44 yards and a TD, his fourth in ‘18. He also tallied a 43-yard run, which helped him record his second-highest yardage total of the season. Westbrook registered five catches for 30 yards versus the Colts a few weeks ago but Cody Kessler will be under center for Jacksonville on Sunday. He remains a WR3/flex play.

JAX WR Dede Westbrook - Week 12 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 12 at Buffalo Bills

Blake Bortles completed just 10 passes in the loss to the Steelers last Sunday, so none of the Jaguars pass catchers posted good numbers. Dede Westbrook finished with two grabs for 19 yards, marking the fifth consecutive game he’s been held to under 50 yards. He has only one TD the past four games and has a tough matchup at the Bills No. 1 pass defense this week. Westbrook should remain on your bench.

JAX WR Dede Westbrook - Week 11 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 11 vs. Pittsburgh Steelers

Blake Bortles threw for over 300 yards last week against the Colts, with Dede Westbrook leading the team with 10 targets. He caught half of those looks, but for just 30 yards, the fourth straight game Westbrook was held to less than 50 yards. Back at home on Sunday versus the Steelers, he makes for a WR3/flex start, at best, even facing the No. 18 pass defense.

JAX WR Dede Westbrook - Week 10 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 10 at Indianapolis Colts

In the loss to Philadelphia two weeks ago, Dede Westbrook was targeted six times but caught just two passes for 31 yards. Luckily for Westbrook owners, one of his grabs went for a TD, his third of the season. Even though two of his scores have come in the past three games, Westbrook’s been held to less than 40 receiving yards in each of those contests. He remains a WR3/flex option at Indy on Sunday, even versus a Colts defense that’s had trouble stopping the pass.

JAX WR Dede Westbrook - Week 8 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 8 vs. Philadelphia Eagles

In the loss to Houston last week, Jaguars QBs threw 42 passes but Dede Westbrook was targeted just four times. He caught all of his looks for a season-low 17 yards and has totaled only 55 yards the past two contests. In London on Sunday, Westbrook faces a Philly D that allows 270 yards per game through the air. But, with the recent shaky QB play by Blake Bortles, he makes for no more than a WR3/flex play.

JAX WR Dede Westbrook - Week 7 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 7 vs. Houston Texans

Jacksonville scored only seven points at Dallas last Sunday, with Dede Westbrook accounting for the TD on a 34-yard reception. During the blowout loss he caught two other passes, but they totaled just four yards. In three of the past four contests, Westbrook has finished with just three receptions, as Blake Bortles and the Jaguars aerial attack has been inconsistent. They’ll be at home this week versus a Texans defense that yields 246 yards through the air, making Westbrook a WR3/flex start.
