JAX WR Dede Westbrook - Week 1 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 1 – Dede Westbrook vs. Indianapolis Colts
In each of the past two seasons Dede Westbrook has finished with exactly 66 catches. He found the end zone only three times in ‘19, but, as long as he stays healthy, could be in line for a solid campaign. The rebuilding Jaguars figure to be playing catchup in most contests, which means a lot of pass attempts from Gardner Minshew. In the opener at home on Sunday, there has to be better options available for you than Westbrook.

JAX WR Dede Westbrook - Week 17 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 17 vs. Indianapolis Colts
With Gardner Minshew throwing for less than 200 yards in the loss to the Falcons last Sunday, Dede Westbrook recorded only two catches for five yards. He hasn’t scored in three straight and in the past two weeks has totaled just four grabs for 19 yards. Westbrook caught four passes for 32 yards in the November loss against the Colts and is a WR3/flex play for the rematch.

JAX WR Dede Westbrook - Week 16 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 16 at Atlanta Falcons
Without D.J. Chark in the Jacksonville lineup last week at Oakland the Jacksonville passing attack struggled for most of the day. On four targets Dede Westbrook registered only two receptions for 14 yards, and in the past five outings, he’s averaging five grabs but for just 40 yards, with one TD. Chark should be back on Sunday in Atlanta, which will help take attention away from Westbrook. Although the Falcons have problems against the pass Westbrook is just a WR3/flex option.

JAX WR Dede Westbrook - Week 15 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 15 at Oakland Raiders
In the loss to the Chargers last week, Dede Westbrook was targeted seven times, resulting in six grabs but for just 25 yards, as his longest reception went for only seven yards. While his yardage hasn’t been impressive, he has registered 19 catches the past three contests. D.J. Chark is battling a sore ankle, which could propel Westbrook to the Jaguars top WR at Oakland. He makes for a WR2 play against a poor pass defense.

JAX WR Dede Westbrook - Week 14 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 14 vs. Los Angeles Chargers
Against Tampa Bay last Sunday, Dede Westbrook led the Jaguars with 60 receiving yards, including a TD, on five receptions. It was his first score since Week 1 and, since returning from a neck injury, over the past three games he’s posted 17 catches on 23 targets. The Chargers defense allows 200 passing yards per game, so consider Westbrook a WR3/flex play with Gardner Minshew back under center.

JAX WR Dede Westbrook - Week 13 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 13 vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers
With his team playing from behind for most of both games, Nick Foles has thrown nearly 100 passes in the past two weeks. In the loss to the Titans last Sunday, Dede Westbrook received nine looks, leading to eight catches for a team-high 69 yards. On the season the WR has only one 100-yard game and one TD but has a great matchup at home versus the Buccaneers second-worst past defense. Consider Westbrook a WR3/flex start.

JAX WR Dede Westbrook - Week 12 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 12 at Tennessee Titans
With Nick Foles tossing 47 passes in his return last week, Dede Westbrook caught four passes for 32 yards. After battling a shoulder and neck injury it was his first action since Week 8. Don’t expect such a pass-happy Jacksonville team on Sunday, which could limit Westbrook’s opportunities. In the home win over Tennessee in Week 3, he finished with five grabs for 46 yards.
