Scouting report

PHI RB D'Andre Swift - Week 17 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 17 vs. Arizona Cardinals
D'Andre Swift had 20 carries for the first time since Week 2 and produced 92 yards and a touchdown. The Eagles want to run more and they did just that. Swift didn't have a pass target which hasn't been a big part of his game the second half of the season.

Swift faces the Cardinals who are ranked 30th in aFPA to running backs. Arizona has struggled against the run so this is a big opportunity for the Eagles to ground and pound.

Start Swift as a low-end RB1 for Week 17. Philly will make sure he has a minimum of 17 carries and he will be a fantasy factor.

Week 16 vs. New York Giants

PHI RB D'Andre Swift - Week 15 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 15 at Seattle Seahawks
The touches for D'Andre Swift have been down the past two weeks and last game he ended up with only 11 rushes for 39 yards and zero receptions. In fact, he has not been involved in the passing game this month like he was earlier in the season. The Eagles said they will get back to running the football, but that didn't happen last week.

Swift faces the Seahawks who are ranked 29th in aFPA to running backs. Despite a favorable matchup, his fantasy stock has dropped in recent weeks and until we see more touches, Swift's ranking is lower than previous weeks.

Start Swift but as a low-end RB2 for Week 15. The Eagles need to get him back involved in the passing game and at least 15 carries which we will see if that happens this Monday.

PHI RB D'Andre Swift - Week 14 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 14 at Dallas Cowboys
D'Andre Swift had his worst game since Week 1 with only 13 rushing yards and seven receiving yards. He wasn't a factor, nor was the Eagles running game in general, which has struggled at times this year besides having a very good offensive line.

Swift faces the Cowboys who are ranked 12th in aFPA to running backs. In the first meeting earlier this year against Dallas, Swift had 20 touches for 74 total yards. The Eagles would like to get that amount of touches again to him, but most likely it will be lower.

Start Swift for Week 14 but only as a high-end RB3 or Flex. We expect Dallas to keep him in check like they did earlier in the season.

PHI RB D'Andre Swift - Week 13 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 13 vs. San Franciso 49ers
D'Andre Swift ran the ball well last Sunday with 14 carries for 80 yards. He wasn't involved in the passing game with only one reception and failed to get in the end zone. The rushing yardage was his highest since Week 3.

Swift faces the 49ers who are ranked 12th in aFPA to running backs. Although the Niners run defense has been vulnerable at times, they are healthy now during their three-game winning streak since their bye. Swift has been limited in practice with an ankle injury but is expected to play.

Start Swift for Week 13, but only as a low-end RB2. The defenses might be showcased on Sunday and that could limit some of Swift's production that has had him ranked higher in recent weeks.

PHI RB D'Andre Swift - Week 12 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 12 vs. Buffalo Bills
D'Andre Swift had another 15+ touch game and eclipsed the 100 total yard mark. He has been the workhorse for this Eagles offense in the running game and also is involved in the passing game.

Swift faces the Bills who are ranked 20th in aFPA to running backs. Expect Buffalo to get a heavy dose of Swift on the ground and in the air in what should be a high-scoring game. This is a good matchup for the Eagles as the Bills have had issues on defense over the last month.

Start Swift as a top-five fantasy running back for Week 12. As long as he continues to get at least 15 touches, he will be ranked as a RB1 each week moving forward.

PHI RB D'Andre Swift - Week 11 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 11 at Kansas City Chiefs
D'Andre Swift had 20 touches last week for 74 total yards. The passing game helped salvage a below-average running day, but he is still getting those touches which keeps his fantasy value high.

It won't be easy this week as Swift faces Kansas City who is ranked third in aFPA to running backs. The Chiefs defense has improved since last season and has been very stingy in the run game.

Start Swift as a low-end RB1 for Week 11 and that's based on the touches. He also has more value in PPR leagues than standard.
