CIN WR Brandon Tate - Week 8, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 8: Tate vs Ravens
Despite the fact that Brandon Tate was on the field for 41 offensive snaps, we didn't see much production. Only 3 targets and 1 catch last week. You would think with A.J. Green out, Tate would be able to put up some decent stats, but it has been limited.

If Green comes back this week, Tate drops off the fantasy radar, but if he is out again, the fantasy impact is minimal. Keep him on the bench.

Week 7: Tate vs Colts
With A.J. Green likely out again, Brandon Tate steps into the starting lineup for Cincy. He did score a touchdown last week and caught four passes. Even though he was the starter last week, Tate only lined up 75% of the plays so the Bengals are getting other receivers playing time.

Against Indy, Tate faces a tough matchup. The Colts are 1st in aFPA to wide receivers this season and that stat should limit what Tate does on Sunday. Keep Tate on the bench for Week 7.

Week 6: Tate vs. Panthers
Brandon Tate has only two catches the last three games so he has not been a fantasy factor this season. But with A.J. Green out, Tate steps into the starting lineup for Cincy.

Even though he will get snaps and will see more targets, Tate is still not worth putting in your starting lineup. QB Andy Dalton will probably spread the ball around against a below-average Carolina pass defense.
