Scouting report

TEN RB Bishop Sankey - Week 11, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Bishop Sankey Week 11 vs. Steelers
Bishop Sankey had a career-high 58 yards on 17 carries last week but has been far from stellar this far this season. He has gotten more involved in the passing game with Zach Mettenberger at QB, catching seven passes in the past two games, but right now, he's nothing more than a flex play at running back.

TEN RB Bishop Sankey - Week 10, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Bishop Sankey Week 10 vs. Ravens
Bishop Sankey got just nine carries for 35 yards two weeks ago, but did have a season-high four receptions for 25 yards to help salvage the outing. The Titans are intent on getting the rookie more than nine carries this week, but going into Baltimore, which is smarting after losing the past two games, is not a promising matchup.

TEN RB Bishop Sankey - Week 8, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Bishop Sankey Week 8 vs. Texans
Bishop Sankey is getting enough carries to be a decent fantasy start - 16 for 56 yards last week - but he hasn't had a big breakout game just yet. Pittsburgh had plenty of success throwing to LeVeon Bell out of the backfield when he matched up with Houston's linebackers last week, so perhaps this is the week Sankey finally gets to show off his receiving skills. If so, he's worth a start as at least a flex play in PPR leagues.

TEN RB Bishop Sankey - Week 7, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Bishop Sankey Week 7 vs. Redskins
It appears that Shonn Greene will be sidelined again this week, meaning Bishop Sankey should get the majority of the work in the Tennessee backfield. He had a decent 61 yards on 18 attempts last week, adding seven more yards on one reception. Washington's run defense has been solid this season overall and has given up just one rushing touchdown. So Sankey's use as a flex this week would be tied directly to the 15 to 20 touches he should receive.

TEN RB Bishop Sankey - Week 6, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Bishop Sankey Week 6 vs. Jaguars
Bishop Sankey got just eight carries for 27 yards last week against Cleveland in what continues to be a time share for the Titans with Shonn Greene. He's getting more reps, but probably not enough to satisfy fantasy owners. Greene, who is dealing with a leg injury, had just 33 yards on 11 carries last week, so there's some hope. Jacksonville is juicy matchup, as well. Sankey is a flex play with some upside. He's going to break out at some point.

TEN RB Bishop Sankey - Week 5, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Bishop Sankey Week 5 vs. Browns
Bishop Sankey owners can finally rejoice. Ken Whisenhunt said this week the rookie will start seeing more time earlier in games after he produced 34 yards and a touchdown on six carries and 23 yards on two receptions last week. Cleveland's run defense is terrible and the rookie could have some success in this one. Use him as a flex this week and keep your fingers crossed.

TEN RB Bishop Sankey - Week 4, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Bishop Sankey Week 4 vs. Colts
Bishop Sankey got his most extensive playing time last week in mop-up duty in a loss at Cincinnati, getting 10 carries for 61 yards. Despite the fact he outrushed Shonn Greene by nearly 30 yards on the same amount of carries, don't look for him to suddenly be the starter. The Titans seem intent on easing him into things. He could get more carries this week, but probably not enough to help you win.
