Scouting report

IND WR Andre Johnson - Week 3, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 3 vs. Tennessee
Andre Johnson has been consistently mediocre through his first two games. He caught 4 for 24 in Week 1 and 3 for 27 in Week 2. It's not a lack of him seeing balls thrown his way. Johnson has 17 targets, which ranks third behind T.Y. Hilton (21) and Donte Moncrief (19). He'll likely produce something, but not much. He should be viewed as a WR4 this week.

IND WR Andre Johnson - Week 2, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 2 vs. New York Jets

Andre Johnson didn't have a strong debut as a Colt. He had a healthy 10 targets, but finished with just four receptions for 24 yards. He'll have an increased role this week if T.Y. Hilton sits as predicted.

Johnson's numbers should improve from his Week 1 efforts, but we're not expecting a big performance against a tough defense. He should be viewed as a low WR2 or strong WR3 this week against N.Y.

IND WR Andre Johnson - Week 1, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 1 vs. Buffalo

Andre Johnson is playing his first year in Indianapolis and will be a reliable target for Andrew Luck. He gets a difficult matchup in Week 1 against Buffalo, but he should see enough passes thrown his way to be a reliable option.

T.Y. Hilton is still the top threat in this offense, but Johnson is a strong No. 2. The veteran wideout will be very active in the Colts high-powered offense. Johnson should be viewed as a strong WR3 play against the Bills.

HOU WR Andre Johnson - Week 17, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 17 – Andre Johnson vs. Jacksonville Jaguars
Case Keenum came Andre Johnson’s way 13 times last week in the victory over Baltimore. Andre collected team-highs of six grabs and 65 yards, including the 1,000th reception of his career. He still has just the two TDs this season. The Texans didn’t need to pass much against the Jaguars in Week 14, with Johnson registering four receptions for 17 yards in the win. He is more of a WR3/flex play on Sunday.

HOU WR Andre Johnson - Week 16, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 16 – Andre Johnson vs. Baltimore Ravens
After suffering a concussion in Week 15, Andre Johnson missed the game last week in Indianapolis. In 2014 so far, Johnson has 69 grabs for 737 yards and two scores. However, with Case Keenum again the Texans’ starting QB, look for the offense to take an even more conservative approach than they have the rest of the season, relying on the legs of Arian Foster - assuming he's healthy enough to go. Johnson is at best a WR3/flex play this week even though Baltimore is No. 30 versus the pass.

HOU WR Andre Johnson - Week 15, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 15 – Andre Johnson vs. Indianapolis Colts
After catching four passes for only 17 yards last week at Jacksonville, Andre Johnson suffered a concussion and will need to be cleared to play on Sunday. Andre has not posted a 100-yard game this season and has scored only twice. In the loss to the Colts earlier this season, he had a good game with Houston playing catch up for most of the contest, collecting seven receptions for 99 yards and a TD. If he’s able to go, Johnson makes for a WR3 play at Indy.

HOU WR Andre Johnson - Week 14, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 14 – Andre Johnson vs. Jacksonville Jaguars
For just the second time in 19 games Andre Johnson was in the end zone. He caught a four yard TD pass from Ryan Fitzpatrick in the fourth quarter of the win over the Titans last Sunday. The Houston offense totaled over 450 yards, with Fitzpatrick throwing for 358. Jacksonville is No. 24 versus the pass, so look for another solid performance from Johnson.
