JAX WR Allen Hurns - Week 1, 2016 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 1 vs. Green Bay
Playing opposite Allen Robinson, Hurns isn't always going to get a high volume of passes thrown his way. He's clearly the No. 2 option. That said, Hurns is a very good No. 2 option. But Green Bay allowed the eighth-fewest WR catches and sixth-fewest WR scores (12) last season. Use Hurns as a low-end No. 3 option or high-end flex play this week,.

JAX WR Allen Hurns - 2016 Fantasy Football Outlook

2016 Fantasy Outlook
Overshadowed by teammate Allen Robinson, Hurns quietly had a very productive season despite seeing his targets increase only slightly from 97 as a rookie to 104 last season. His line of 64-1,031-10 in 15 games would look good on anyone's roster, and he did that playing through a myriad of injuries. Hurns is slightly undervalued in most early drafts, as he's been the 31st receiver taken with an ADP of 69. Take advantage of his low overall value and grab him as a very high-end No. 3 receiver. If Robinson draws more attention this season, Hurns would be the biggest beneficiary.

JAX WR Allen Hurns - Week 17, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 17 at Houston
As usual, Hurns is on the injury list again this week. But he's played through a multitude of issues and had eight receptions for 106 yards and two scores last week. He was limited to two catches for 30 yards earlier this season by Houston, but did score in the game to salvage the outing and remains a solid No. 3 receiving option with plenty of upside.

JAX WR Allen Hurns - Week 16, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 16 at New Orleans
A thigh injury is limiting Hurns production, as is the emergence of Julius Thomas in Jacksonville's passing game. He had just two receptions for 44 yards last week on five targets. But better days could be ahead this week. New Orleans' pass defense is dead last and the Saints will likely score some points, forcing the Jaguars to keep throwing it as well.

JAX WR Allen Hurns - Week 15, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 15 vs. Atlanta
As he has for the majority of this season, Hurns is on the injury report again this week. But he's coming off another 100-yard game - though he had just three catches - and got into the end zone for the first time since Week 10. Atlanta has allowed just six WR scores all season, but Hurns should be good enough in what promises to be a shootout to put up No. 2 receiver numbers.

JAX WR Allen Hurns - Week 14, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 14 vs. Indianapolis
After sitting out last week, Hurns has been cleared to return to action this week. Indianapolis allowed two 100-yard receivers to the Steelers last week and Hurns had 11 catches for 116 yards and a score earlier this season against Indianapolis. There's no reason to think Hurns won't be a solid No. 2 receiver with some upside this week.

JAX WR Allen Hurns - Week 12, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 12 vs. San Diego
Hurns had his seven-game TD streak ended last week and had just three catches for 19 yards, easily making it his worst game of the season. Hurns isn't exactly a TD-reliant player since he did have a streak of a touchdown or at least 60 yards in every game until last week, but the Chargers have given up just seven WR scores this season and have only allowed two WR TDs in a game twice this season. Be careful here. Hurns is probably more of a No. 3 or flex start this week.
