Bengals WR A.J. Green 'comfortable' with his contract

A.J. Green—who turns 30 next month—does not appear to feel any urgency to address his own contract situation.

“I signed a deal and I’m comfortable with the deal and I just live with it,” Green told The Cincinnati Enquirer on Sunday. “After that’s up, we go back to the board. I don’t really get caught up in what’s the money like because I signed my deal and it was the highest paid at that point. It’s going to always go up. So you can’t keep up with that.

“…At the end of the day I just want to play football. I got my contract. I’m set for life. Now I can just go out there and play.”

Fantasy Impact: 

The story was about Green showing support for Julio Jones wanting a new contract, but Green seems to be OK with his situation. As the story said, the two are linked after Green went fourth and Jones sixth in the 2011 NFL Draft.

Ravens WR Mike Wallace (ankle, questionable) returned to take limited reps Friday after missing practice earlier in the week and is questionable for Week 15. His return to practice indicates that he’ll be able to play. He has at least 48 receiving yards and/or a touchdown in five straight games, including 5-116 on 8 targets against the Lions in Week 13 and 3-72 on 5 targets against the Steelers last week. He’ll square off with Jason McCourty, which isn’t as bad of a matchup as it might seem. Over the last three weeks, McCourty has yielded 5-66 to A.J. Green, 6-83-1 to Keenan Allen and 5-45-2 to Davante Adams.

Ravens WR Mike Wallace (ankle) missed practice again Thursday. Wallace should be able to face the Browns, but we’ll see what he’s able to do on Friday. For his part, he says that he expects to play. He has at least 48 receiving yards and/or a touchdown in five straight games, including 5-116 on 8 targets against the Lions in Week 13 and 3-72 on 5 targets against the Steelers last week. He’ll square off with Jason McCourty, which isn’t as bad of a matchup as it might seem. Over the last three weeks, McCourty has yielded 5-66 to A.J.
