Fantasy Football Sneaky Starts: Week 15

Moore

As injuries pile up, all but the luckiest fantasy owners will at some point need to find the proverbial diamond in the rough: a waiver wire or bench player who is capable of putting up some points in a pinch. This weekly feature is dedicated to that part of fantasy football. It's not pretty, but it's part of the game.

QUARTERBACKS

Christian Ponder, Vikings (vs. NO)
Ponder has tossed eight TDs in his last four games and has a great matchup with the Saints, who have given up the 2nd-most Adjusted FP to QBs this season. The Vikings figure to trail against the Saints, so Ponder should have plenty of opportunity to succeed in garbage time.
Rex Grossman, Redskins (@ NYG)
Grossman has the potential to put up a clunker, but he has six pass TDs in his last four games and has averaged 258 passing yards in the five games since retaking the Redskins starting job. Meanwhile, the Giants have given up the 5th-most Adjusted FP to QBs this year. This game has the potential to become a shootout.
