Week 2 vs. San Francisco
We had a feeling DeVonta Smith would immediately become the Eagles' No. 1 receiver and Week 1 proved that. He was targeted a team-high 8 times and caught six passes for 71 yards and his first NFL touchdown. What's noticeable is the targets were more than either tight end which the Eagles have been reliant on over the past several seasons.
Smith will have a tougher matchup against a very good San Francisco defense. We expect the numbers he put up last week to be the norm for him. What we don't expect this week is a breakout performance fantasy-wise.
Start Smith as a WR3 or Flex for Week 2. His numbers should be good enough to aid your fantasy team in that role.
