Missouri Sports Betting Launches Dec. 1

The Missouri Gaming Commission has set December 1, 2025, as the official launch date for Missouri sports betting. At midnight, bettors will be able to place wagers with popular sportsbooks.

Missouri sports betting was able to get off the ground thanks to Amendment 2 being added to the voting ballot in November 2024.

Sportsbook Set to Go Live

There are 14 available sports betting licenses in the state of Missouri. 10 of those slots have already been taken by familiar names like DraftKings, FanDuel, and BetMGM.

There is room for a couple of more sportsbooks, but they will not be able to launch on December 1 because they missed the deadline to earn a temporary sports betting license. Sportsbooks entering the market have to partner with an in-state casino or professional sports team.
