Week 17 vs. Pittsburgh Steelers
Tyler Lockett had one of his best games of the season last week at the time when the Seahawks needed it most. He saw a season-high 11 targets and caught eight for 81 yards as Seattle greatly improved their playoff chances with the win over the Titans. Seattle could another performance like this as a win over Pittsburgh would all but put Seattle in the postseason. But with how up and down Lockett has been this season, he’s a flex play at best with some upside, as we saw last week.
Week 16 at Tennessee Titans
The good news is that Tyler Lockett saw nine targets against the Eagles. The bad news is that he caught just three of them for 21 yards. Lockett's quiet season continues but he has a chance to make some noise in Week 16 against a Titans defense allowing the sixth-most fantasy points to wide receivers. It's a gamble, but the veteran tends to come through at times in clutch situations. He's worth a look as your WR3/Flex option for the fantasy semifinals.
Week 15 vs. Philadelphia Eagles
Tyler Lockett had one of his better days last week against the 49ers with 89 yards on six catches in what has been a but if a quiet season for him. But he gets another chance to put up some numbers against an Eagles defense that has not been well in the last few weeks. He’ll be limited by the injury limitations of Geno Smith, but if they can overcome those, then Lockett has a chance to have a nice day Monday night.
Week 14 at San Francisco 49ers
Tyler Lockett had another fairly quiet day, but he did catch five passes for the fourth time in his last six games. The targets continue to be there (at least seven targets six times since the Week 5 bye), but the yardage has been up and down. It was down on Thanksgiving against the 49ers -- 30 yards on three catches. Lockett remains a flex option this week in San Francisco.
Week 13 at Dallas Cowboys
Seattle’s offense was very limited last week against the 49ers as quarterback Geno Smith played through an elbow injury. That meant Tyler Lockett wasn’t able to produce much, going for just 30 yards on three catches. A meeting with Dallas isn’t much easier for Lockett. He still gives some flex upside, but Dallas can wreak havoc on Smith which will in turn limit Lockett, so be very cautious with him this week.
Week 12 vs. San Francisco 49ers
Tyler Lockett overcame his hamstring injury to record 51 yards on five receptions against the Rams. Geno Smith was banged up during the game, which limited Lockett and the rest of the offense. Lockett looks fine for this week in what's actually not a terrible matchup for him. The 49ers have been fairly generous to opposing wide receivers. But with his quarterback a major question mark, Lockett is a flex play at best this week.
Week 11 at Los Angeles Rams
Tyler Lockett had his third game this season with eight catches, his second game with at least 90 yards and his fourth touchdown catch of the season. It may not be the typical Tyler Lockett season, but it's still a solid one. Let's just hope Lockett performs much better this time against the Rams as compared to Week 1 when he caught two passes for just 10 yards.
Week 10 vs. Washington Commanders
The Ravens held Tyler Lockett to just 32 yards on three catches and Geno Smith targeted Lockett eight times. It's been a roller coaster since the bye week. His yardage totals since Seattle was off in Week 5: 94, 38, 81, 32. Maybe the pattern means a good week this week? If you're a believer in that superstition, fire up Lockett this week against the Commanders. The good news is Lockett also has 30 targets in those four games.
Week 9 at Baltimore Ravens
Tyler Lockett was a huge part of the Seahawks win over the Browns last week, catching eight passes for 81 yards and a touchdown. His nine targets were the second most for him this season (10 in Week 2 at Detroit). Baltimore is another tough matchup, but Geno Smith has been connecting more with Lockett lately. He’s a borderline WR2 this week.
Week 8 vs. Cleveland Browns
Despite facing a team he has had plenty of success against in the past, Tyler Lockett couldn’t quite take advantage of Seattle not having DK Metcalf against the Cardinals. It was his third game with less than 40 yards and he hasn’t scored a touchdown since his pair in Week 2. Now he gets a tough Cleveland defense that has been excellent this season, save for the wild game last week against the Colts. Lockett is a deep flex option this week.
