Scouting report

PHI RB Miles Sanders - Week 17 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 17 at New York Giants
Miles Sanders had 25 touches last week for 156 yards and was very involved in the offense, especially the passing game. He has become the workhorse for the Eagles and Philly has had success with him in that role. We expect more even with the return of veteran Jordan Howard.

The Giants are up next and are ranked 14th in aFPA to running backs. In the first meeting between the two teams back in Week 14, Sanders had 19 touches for 69 yards. He is a good play for Week 17 since the Eagles are playing for the postseason.

Start Sanders as a high-end RB2 this week and expect him to be close to 20 touches again. Howard's return prevents him from being an RB1.

PHI RB Miles Sanders - Week 16 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 16 vs Dallas
Miles Sanders has come alive from a fantasy standpoint since Jordan Howard has been out with an injury. Sanders had his first career 100-rushing performance and had 172 yards from scrimmage and two touchdowns.

Sanders will face the Cowboys who are 10th in aFPA to running backs. Even with a matchup favoring Dallas, we like Sanders to get 20+ touches this week and have a very good fantasy day. Start him Week 16 as an RB2 at home on Sunday

PHI RB Miles Sanders - Week 14 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 14 vs New York Giants
Jordan Howard is still out and that is paying dividends for Miles Sanders and his owners. He had 22 touches for 105 yards and a touchdown. The 17 carries and five receptions were career highs for the rookie.

The Giants are next and are ranked 13th in aFPA to running backs, Sanders had shown flashes of being a featured back early in the season and now that he is getting the ball, we are seeing results.

Start Sanders in all leagues and formats for Week 14. It should be another big game for the rookie.

PHI RB Miles Sanders - Week 13 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 13 at Miami
Miles Sanders will be the featured back for the second straight week as Jordan Howard should be out again. He had 15 touches last week for 86 yards and the numbers should go up this week. Sanders has shown signs of having that breakout game and Miami could be the team it happens against.

The Dolphins are ranked 29th in aFPA to running backs. Miami has played better in recent weeks but their defense overall has not been good.

Start Sanders as a solid RB2 for Week 13. If the Eagles get him the ball, his numbers should be some of the best we have seen this season.

PHI RB Miles Sanders - Week 12 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 12 vs Seattle
With Jordan Howard expected to be out again, Miles Sanders becomes the featured back by default. The issue is he only got 13 touches last week and we expected a lot more. Sanders has shown the ability to make big plays at times but the Eagles have been hesitant to go all aboard with the rookie.

Sanders will face the Seahawks who are 15th in aFPA to running backs. With a neutral matchup and the availability of other key skill players, Sanders should have a good game if the Eagles get him the ball. Not sure they will. Start him as an RB2 for Week 12.

PHI RB Miles Sanders - Week 11 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 11 vs New England
Miles Sanders has 13 touches for 73 yards in the last game before the Eagles bye. Even though Jordan Howard is getting more touches than Sanders in recent weeks, Sanders is still involved in the offense and still getting snaps.

It won't be easy this week as the Patriots come to town ranked fourth in aFPA to running backs. We expect Sanders to get 10-12 touches and that will be enough to rank him as an RB or flex for Week 11. Start him in all deep leagues and formats.

PHI RB Miles Sanders - Week 9 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 9 vs Chicago
Miles Sanders scored his first NFL touchdown on a 65-yard run but only had six touches. Sanders was banged up during the game so Jordan Howard carried the load. Sanders did not practice Wednesday, but was feeling better on Thursday.

Sanders will face the Bears who are 12th in aFPA to running backs. As long as he is healthy, he should be able to contribute and be a fantasy factor. Start him as a low-end RB3 in standard leagues, but he ranks higher in PPR leagues for Week 9.
