KC WR Mecole Hardman - Week 10 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 10 vs. Jacksonville Jaguars

Mecole Hardman continued his hot streak with another great game last week, finishing 6-79-1 on nine targets. That stat line is impressive because it sets Hardman's season highs in targets, receptions and receiving yards. Although that's bound to happen when the Chiefs throw the ball 68 times in a game. Still, Hardman has scored a touchdown in three consecutive games, and has really started to become more involved lately. He could continue his touchdown streak this week against the Jaguars as Jacksonville has given up the third-most total receiving touchdowns to WRs this season. With a favorable matchup against Jacksonville (28th aFPA), Hardman can be viewed as a solid WR3 play for Week 10. His health will be worth monitoring, though, as he's missed some practices (abdomen) this week.

KC WR Mecole Hardman - Week 9 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 9 vs. Tennessee Titans

Mecole Hardman came out of nowhere last week to have a huge three-touchdown game. Hardman was OK as a receiver, finishing 4-32-1 on four targets. But he was used in the red zone as a rushing threat, scoring twice on his two carries, gaining 28 yards in the process. In total, he had 60 yards from scrimmage with three scores. We'll see if Hardman can keep this production up as he draws a favorable matchup vs. the Titans in Week 9. He should be viewed as a mid-range WR3 option this week.

KC WR Mecole Hardman - Week 7 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 7 at San Francisco 49ers

Mecole Hardman had a nice outing last week, finishing 3-41-1 on four targets. Hardman scored his second touchdown of the season, making him the only Chiefs wide receiver with multiple touchdowns this season. Hardman's now had two productive games in a row after finishing with 73 yards in Week 5. It's a nice bounce back considering he started the season with less than 15 receiving yards in three of his first four games. Hardman will be in WR5 range in a tough Week 7 matchup against the 49ers.

KC WR Mecole Hardman - Week 3 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 3 at Indianapolis Colts

Mecole Hardman finished 3-49 on four targets last week, and then lost four yards on a carry. He's the team's second-leading wide receiver in receptions (6) and receiving yards (65). Although he hasn't been terribly productive. Hardman will be off the fantasy radar in most leagues. He's not much more than a desperation WR5. He offers little upside in Week 3 in an OK matchup vs the Colts.

KC WR Mecole Hardman - Week 2 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 2 vs. Los Angeles Chargers

Mecole Hardman saw six targets in Week 1, which was the third-most on the team. He also scored a touchdown. However, the speedster only finished with three receptions for 16 yards. It's a bit of an odd statline, but it's encouraging to see Hardman involved in the offense. Before the season, he was thought to be the odd man out with the arrival of three new receivers during the offseason. Still, outside of his touchdown Hardman didn't produce a whole lot. He should be viewed as a WR5 in a decent Week 2 matchup vs. the Chargers.

KC WR Mecole Hardman - Week 1 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 1 at Arizona Cardinals

Mecole Hardman's role in this Chiefs offense is tough to project. On the positive side, he's one of the fastest players in the league and the lone notable returning receiver in Kansas City. On the negative, he appears to be at least the fourth option out of the receivers behind Travis Kelce, JuJu Smith-Schuster, and Marquez Valdes-Scantling. He'll be competing with RBs and rookie Skyy Moore for the scraps. Hardman's speed may give him a few big games throughout the season, but it's hard to see him getting too many touches in this offense. He's outside of the top 50 WRs this week vs. the Cardinals.

KC WR Mecole Hardman - Week 17 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 17 at Cincinnati Bengals

Mecole Hardman finished 3-31-1 on five targets last week. It's just his second touchdown reception of the season. While it's not a terrible game, it is a bit of a letdown considering the Chiefs were without Travis Kelce, and Tyreek Hill wasn't playing at 100%. Hardman pretty much maintained his same role, playing on just 43% of the offensive snaps. He hasn't played more than 45% of the offensive snaps since Week 9. Hardman isn't on the field enough to be a reliable option in fantasy. He's not much more than a low-end WR5 for Week 17.
