Broncos Lead Division at 7-2
The Denver Broncos lead the AFC West with a 7-2 record, and they are riding a six-game winning streak after starting 1-2. There is still plenty of football left to be played, and the Broncos have some huge games in the second half of the season.
In week 11, they take on the Chiefs at home before taking on the Packers (5-2-1) in week 15. The final three games of the season are home against the Jaguars (5-3), at the Chiefs (5-4), and home against the Chargers (6-3).
Chiefs 5-4 and 8th in the AFC
The Chiefs are just outside of the playoff picture after a 28-21 loss to the Bills in Week 9. That hasn't stopped bettors from thinking they are still in a good position to win the division. They have a bye week this week and return for a huge matchup with the Broncos on November 16.
In week 15, the Chiefs take on the Chargers at home before facing the Broncos at home in week 17. With what seem like winnable games against the Cowboys, Texans, Titans, and Raiders still on the schedule, the Chiefs could rack up enough wins to be within striking distance going into that massive matchup with Denver.
Chargers Sit at 6-3
The Chargers have won two games in a row and are second in the AFC West with a 6-3 record. Upcoming, the schedule is not easy as they have matchups with the Steelers, Jaguars, and Eagles in three of the next four games.
After that, it's the Chiefs in week 15 and the Broncos in week 18. Both of those games are on the road. The Chargers are currently 6th in the AFC playoff picture and have a Wild Card spot.
After the Chiefs at No. 8 seed, the Texans (3-5), Ravens (3-5), and Bengals (3-6) each have just three wins. So with a tough schedule, the Chargers are still in a solid position in terms of the playoffs.
