Tuesday brings a smaller slate of games in the NBA, with very different DFS slates on FanDuel and DraftKings. FanDuel has kept all six games on their slate, while DraftKings has removed the last two games of the night (UTA/LAL and PHX/POR), which makes a significant difference in our options. The slate is defined almost as much by who is missing as by who is playing, with Paolo Banchero, Stephon Castle, Grayson Allen, Ja Morant, Jrue Holiday, and Victor Wembanyama all either out or looking unlikely to play. LeBron James should make his season debut for the Lakers (on the FanDuel slate only).
The Questionable list includes Jalen Suggs, Onyeka Okongwu, Kristaps Prozingis, Zaccharie Risacher, Cade Cunningham, Tobias Harris, and Ausar Thompson. That makes the DET/ATL game almost impossible to decipher – with that game tipping off at 7:30 PM ET and only one game (GSW/ORL) tipping off at the 7 PM ET lock, I would be cautious on using roster spots from the early game if we don’t have clarity on the Pistons and Hawks at the time the slate locks.
