Kentucky Sports Betting Apps to Allow Early Sign-Ups This Month

The Bluegrass state has exciting news for sports bettors, there will be pre-registration and early sign-ups for KY sportsbooks at the end of August. Here's everything we know about Kentucky sports betting apps allowing early sign-ups later this month.

Kentucky Online Sportsbook Early Registration Starts Aug. 28

The office of Gov. Andy Beshear and the Kentucky Horse Racing Commission have announced the state will allow early sign-ups for sportsbooks starting on Monday, August 28. Sportsbooks who recently applied will be receiving approval for their sports betting licenses at the KHRC meeting on August 22.

Users who sign up early cannot place a deposit until September 7 and they cannot place a bet until online sports betting goes live on September 28. This will give bettors plenty of time to wager on the NFL and college football seasons.

After approval, the sportsbooks are allowed to have new users register on their apps and websites starting on the 28th. Everything is starting to move quickly with September approaching and the online Kentucky betting launch right around the corner.

Early Sign Ups and Kentucky Sportsbook Promo Codes

Sportsbooks are expected to have bonuses and promotions for new users that jump on early sign-up opportunities. It is unclear what the top sportsbooks like BetMGM and Caesars will do as of now. These top brands along with FanDuel have already partnered with premier racetracks in the state to bring retail and online betting.

Pre-registration will likely run until the launch of sports betting on the 28th of September. This gives new users a month to claim the promotions and get settled with their top sportsbook options.
