20 Fantasy Football Sleepers to Target After Pick 150

The burn-and-churn strategy for redraft rosters is typically forgotten over the summer with best ball taking precedence. But any winning player would be the first to tell you that upside is what matters most in the later rounds, knowing we can always shed dead weight to get ahead of potential Free Agency Auction Budget (FAAB) eruptions weekly.

These are my favorite fliers with a consensus Average Draft Position (ADP) of 150.0 (Round 14) or later including deep sleepers for every format.

Reminder to use our Multi-Site ADP tool to understand where these players are being drafted on your respective host site.

Round 14 Sleepers

QB Sam Howell, Commanders (ADP: 157)

As TJ Hernandez pointed out, rush attempts per game are the stickiest stat year-to-year for fantasy quarterbacks. And Howell not only averaged 9.9 carries across 37 games with the Tarheels (including 5.4 rushing points per week), he's leaned on that trait in his minimal reps with 19 carries on 137 dropbacks (13.8%) dating back to last preseason.

Drafters clearly believe in his wide receivers as both Terry McLaurin (53 ADP) and Jahan Dotson (82 ADP) are being drafted in the first seven rounds, so there should be no concern in tacking on Sam Howell as a starter in Superflex leagues given that his added rushing floor could elevate him into fringe-QB1 territory if the dominos were to fall.

Format: 2-QB, Superflex

RB Gus Edwards, Ravens (ADP: 167)

J.K. Dobbins has publicly expressed frustration over his contract even though the organization framed his initial stint on the PUP list as an attempt “to get back to 100% physically with his surgically repaired knee.” (Dobbins ultimately lost his contractual battle given that he had no leverage.) When both Gus Edwards and Dobbins were available from Weeks 14-17 last year, though, Edwards averaged 9.7 carries to Dobbins’ 11.5.
