NCAAB Conference Tournament Betting Preview: Pac-12
UCLA brought the Pac-12 back to the national spotlight with their magical trip to the Final Four last season. The Bruins were one of the last teams to qualify with an at-large berth, defeating Michigan State as a No. 11 seed in the First Four at Mackey Arena.
Many thought that performance by UCLA would jumpstart a Power 6 conference that has been longing for more teams in the national spotlight. However, it appears the conference will actually get fewer bids than last year, projected now with three teams in this year's tournament. That would be a two-team reduction from last season.
The Pac-12 Tournament opens on Wednesday with a full slate of games of four games. Arizona, UCLA, USC and Colorado all earned first-round byes as a result of their top-four conference finish.
The 12-team tournament features some fantastic rivalry matchups with an opening-round matchup between Oregon Oregon State and a potential Arizona vs. Arizona State matchup in the quarter-finals. The Pac-12 Tournament finishes by crowning a champion on Saturday, at Michelob Ultra Arena in Las Vegas.
