NASCAR Toyota Owners 400 Betting Preview & Best Bets

Short-track racing season is here! Richmond is a 0.75-mile track considered to be a high-tire wear surface, and a relatively flat one as well. This is one of my favorite tracks, even though it is historically prone to long green flag runs in the Cup Series.

We thought things at the road course would bring a return to normalcy in most areas... predictability being one of them. Unfortunately, like everything this year, it produced a mixed bag. We nailed the 1.5 unit article play, which is the most important thing here. But we didn't see Chase Elliott being all that relevant, and the young guns continued to pace the field.

Richmond represents an opportunity to explore just how reliable the new data can be with the new Gen-7 vehicles. It historically correlates with Phoenix Raceway... and the Cup Series was just there several weeks ago. Let's dig in!
