Sunday Night DFS Single Game Breakdown: Vikings at Packers

The Vikings have lost starting quarterback Kirk Cousins to COVID and will be starting Sean Mannion. Mannion has two starts into his NFL career, and he was unable to throw for over 200 yards in either of them. He last started for the Vikings in Week 17 against the Chicago Bears, and in that game, whenever they got into the red zone, it was a heavy dose of the run game. Dalvin Cook is returning from his stint on the COVID list and will be the focal point of this offense. Adam Thielen is out for the year, which will give Dede Westbrook and Ihmir Smith-Marsette a chance to earn some playing time.

The Packers elevated Jaire Alexander, but when the news came out that Kirk Cousins was on the COVID list, he was ruled out for the game giving him an extra week to come back. The Packers are on a four-game winning streak with a chance to secure the first-round bye if they win and the Cowboys lose this weekend. Aaron Rodgers has thrown three or more touchdowns in four of his last five starters, and this streak started the last time he played the Vikings. Marquez Valdes-Scantling returned from his stint from the COVID list and had a big game against the Vikings in their first matchup.
