NBA Player Prop Bets: Spicy Curry

I'm constantly railing on our ability, or inability, to consistently beat a market as liquid as NFL or NBA sides. Player props, though? Player props are an entirely different story.
Now, more than ever, I can't overstate how vital it is for you as a subscriber to be in our private Discord. Only a handful of the plays we make each day find their way into a written article here on the site, but the NBA Team is talking through news and situations all day in the Discord. The team is also adding picks in the chat as value opens up throughout the day. You're busy, so you don't need to spend your day in a chat room, but it's easy to set up the push notifications so you can get the alerts as soon as a pick is posted. If you're a subscriber but not utilizing Discord and have questions, please reach out.
We also have two new tools that'll look familiar if you're betting NFL props with us. Sam Hoppen created our NBA Player Prop Tool and NBA Prop Stat Explorer Tool to help in our research. With five games on the slate tonight, filtering through all of the data in one spot saves you a lot of time. Let's dig in.

NBA Player Prop Bets (February 17th, 2022)

Seth Curry Over 16.5 Points (-115, DraftKings)
With Kevin Durant (knee), Ben Simmons (mental health) and Kyrie Irving (watched a YouTube video) out for this one, the heavy lifting on offense falls on the newly-acquired Seth Curry. He's averaging a career-high 15.3 points per game on the season and has topped 20 points in both of his games since joining the Nets last week. The Wizards are among the bottom third in the league in terms of defensive efficiency and with Curry's increased usage, this number is too low considering his current role on this team.
Risk: 1.15 units to win 1 on DraftKings. (Playable to -125, or 17.5 points)
Kyle Kuzma Over 2.5 Turnovers (-115, DraftKings)
Kyle Kuzma has seen a massive usage spike with all the injuries and trades in Washington. He's averaging 8.8 potential assists over the past five games, up from his 5.6 number on the season. More touches and passes lead to more turnovers. He's averaged nearly four turnovers per game over the past two weeks, and the Nets have ranked inside the top 10 in turnover rate created over the last month of the season. When these two teams met up a week ago, Kuzma turned it over six times.
Risk: 1.15 units to win 1 unit on DraftKings. (Playable up to -120)
Reggie Jackson Over 26.5 Points + Assists (-120, DraftKings)
The injury to newly-acquired Norman Powell has put more responsibility on Reggie Jackson to keep the Clippers' offense running at full strength. Despite some poor shooting efforts, Jackson is averaging 19 points and 8.3 assists with Powell out of the lineup. Tonight's matchup against the Rockets, who play at the second-fastest pace in the league and have the worst defensive rating in the game, is a great spot to go after Jackson.
Risk: 1.2 units to win 1 unit on DraftKings. (Playable up to -125 or 27.5)
