DraftKings Week 3 Cash Game Breakdown
One of the most exploitable situations in DFS is when you can roster cheap players that will see increased playing time because of an injured starter, especially at the running back position. This week, we have a handful of running backs in that very situation and cash lineups should revolve around that value that’s been laid out on a silver platter.
In addition to the “roster running backs stepping in for an injured starter” rule, I have created a set of DraftKings cash game guidelines which serve as a friendly reminder for what we should be looking for when building your cash game lineups.
QB Marcus Mariota $5,900 vs. OAK
Efficiency trumps volume at the quarterback position, and quarterbacks have been uber-efficient against Oakland in this young season. Through two games, the Raiders have allowed a 9.2 percent touchdown rate (touchdown per pass attempt) through the air and 0.77 fantasy points per attempt, second-worst in the league in both categories. Tennessee has an implied point total more than eight points above their 16.0 PPG average over the first two weeks, and no team has thrown at a higher rate than the Titans in the red zone (81 percent).
