Stacking the Deck: FanDuel & DraftKings Stacks for Week 16

Welcome back to Stacking the Deck. This season at 4for4 we will be providing subscribers with Value Reports and Stack Value Reports that value every stack in terms of projected points/$. We also use our Adjusted Fantasy Points Against (aFPA) metric heavily in the column. What’s new this year is we know have the have the advantage of putting into practice two great offseason studies from my colleague, Senior DFS Editor, Chris Raybon: The Definitive Guide to Stacking on FanDuel and The Definitive Guide to Stacking on DraftKings.

Be sure and check out DFS MVP this week where I broke down my winning lineup in the 4for4 DraftKings Championship with Chris Raybon and TJ Hernandez. We dug deep into why to target ownership tails in DFS, but also where contrarian game theory can help you recover if chalk goes bad.

We will continue to focus on positive correlations in this column, but also put a higher emphasis on leverage plays in GPPs.

The following are my top stacks for Week 16 on both FanDuel and DraftKings:

FanDuel Stacks

Marcus Mariota ($7,800) & Rishard Matthews ($5,700) @ JAX

It’s not the best matchup on paper, as Jacksonville ranks 11th and eighth in QB and WR aFPA, respectively, but the Jaguars are imploding, having lost nine straight games and firing their head coach. The Titans are a road favorite (-4.5) and quarterbacks who use their legs have the tendency to more easily negate a poor matchup through the air. Though the matchup with Jalen Ramsey is concerning, if Mariota does take to the air, Rishard Matthews could still remain the primary beneficiary. Over the last four games, he holds a massive 31.43% target share and he is still priced at just $5,700. No one wants to play the guy, so you should be able to get him at ownership.
