FanDuel Week 15 Cash Game Breakdown
As the weather gets colder and data gets more reliable, how to construct a cash game roster has become clearer. There are a couple of RBs currently seeing unprecedented usage, and you should be just fine as long as you're building lineups around them. Luckily, there are a bunch of high-upside receiving options seeing volume that have very affordable price tags. As always, be sure to check the weather before making final lineups decisions, especially at kicker.
QB Matt Ryan $8,500 vs. SF
On a day where the Falcons have an astronomical implied point total of 32.5 that is 5.75 points higher than the next closest team, the safest play at QB is to target Ryan, who is responsible for 76% of the Falcons' offensive yardage and 67% of their offensive TDs. Only Aaron Rodgers and Tom Brady have a greater PPG average than Ryan's 22.0, and Brady will be on the road facing a tough Denver defense (No. 1 in QB aFPA), while Rodgers is on the road facing a pesky Bears defense (No. 5 in QB aFPA) in what is expected to be nearly sub-zero conditions. Ryan, meanwhile, will be at home in a dome against a 49ers defense that is ranked 29th in QB aFPA.
RB David Johnson $9,800 vs. NO
You want consistency? Johnson is only the second player in NFL history to gain more than 100 scrimmage yards in each of his first 13 games. Johnson is every bit as much Arizona's number-one receiver as Larry Fitzgerald -- both average 9.8 targets over the last five games...except Johnson also averages 18.4 carries. Johnson is a home favorite against a Saints defense that is no longer a sieve on the ground, but still ranks 24th in RB aFPA and has allowed the fourth-most receiving yards per game (51.2) to the position in 2016.
