Waiver Wire Watch: Week 7

Week 6 wasn't a big week for injuries, but the ones that did occur were pretty significant. Jason Campbell has a broken collarbone and will miss the season, Felix Jones has a high ankle sprain which could keep him out a while and Peyton Hillis tweaked his hamstring. Oh, and Jahvid Best is dealing with another concussion. Yeesh.

Let's jump right in and discuss the best waiver wire pickups for Week 7:

Tebow has been named the starter, so pick him up with confidence. He's an interesting fantasy prospect due to his ability to run the ball, especially around the goal line. He was productive in the passing game as well late last year and nearly pulled out a win against the Chargers in W5 using his athleticism and big arm. At worst, he's a QB2-type that's startable in the right matchup. If things click for him, he's a semi-solid QB1 who will find himself in your starting lineup for the remainder of the season. He's built like Cam Newton, but throws like a young Mike Vick. It's not always going to be pretty, but fantasy-wise, he should get the job done. If you need a QB, there is no one on the waiver wire with more upside.

With seven TDs in his last three games (and 257+ yards in his last two), Cassel seems to be back to safe QB2 status as the Chiefs have had to throw the ball more. The Raiders have struggled against the pass, so he's not a terrible spot start this week.

The Rams just added Brandon Lloyd, so Bradford's stock gets a boost. He's been throwing to subpar talent this season and Lloyd would be a great addition to a struggling offense. The only concern is how quickly the duo can develop a rapport. We're normally not big on midseason moves, but Lloyd is very familiar with Josh McDaniels' offense and there is plenty of playing time available. Bradford won't be a good start in W7 against the Cowboys, but he could make some noise against the Saints and Cardinals in W8 & W9. Update: Bradford apparently has a high ankle sprain, which will limit his mobility and possibly sideline him in the short term.
