GB WR Randall Cobb - Week 4, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Randall Cobb Week 4 vs. Bears
It's troubling that Randall Cobb's reception and yardage totals have fallen each week, all the way down to a 3-29-0 line last week. It was the first time he didn't catch a TD pass. And if that's not happening, he's not producing well right now. We still like him, just not as much as teammate Jordy Nelson. He's still a must-start in all formats. Just hope for a bounce-back game this week.

GB WR Randall Cobb - Week 3, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Randall Cobb Week 3 vs. Lions
Randall Cobb has just 11 receptions this season and is averaging just 8.9 yards per catch - including 5-39 last week - but he's caught three touchdown passes. At some point, opponents are going to start rolling their defenses to Jordy Nelson, which could free Cobb up even more. Cobb is a must-start in all formats.

GB WR Randall Cobb - Week 2, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Randall Cobb Week 2 vs. Jets
While Jordy Nelson was seeing more of the targets and receptions, it was Randall Cobb who found his way into the end zone, catching six passes for 58 yards and a score against Seattle. The Jets' corners won't be able to hang with the elusive Cobb this week. He'll perform as a solid No. 2 receiver with No. 1 capabilties.

GB WR Randall Cobb - Week 1, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Randall Cobb, Week 1 vs Seahawks
Like his running mate, Jordy Nelson, Randall Cobb faces a tough task this week against a Seattle defense that ranked No. 2 in the league last season in terms of fantasy points allowed to opposing receivers. But Cobb and company will still get their yards. Aaron Rodgers is just too good to completely shut down. Just keep your expectations of a huge game in check.

GB WR Randall Cobb - 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Fantasy Upside
Randall Cobb was supposed to be one of the top 20 fantasy wide receivers in football in 2013. And for a few weeks, he was just that. Cobb had two 100-yard games and four of five with 50-plus yards until breaking his leg in Week 6. There's no reason to believe he won't pick up where he left off in 2014.

Fantasy Downside
There are many other options in Green Bay.

Bottom Line
There's a lot to like here, especially in PPR leagues. Cobb appeared in six games in 2013 - he returned for the regular season finale - and added another 55 yards and two scores on just two catches. He should break out this season playing with Aaron Rodgers. His ADP has him going early in the third round, which means you can take a pair of studs and still land this potential breakout star with your third pick. That's strong, especially in PPR leagues.
