MIN WR Stefon Diggs - Week 15, 2016 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 15 vs. Indianapolis
Stefon Diggs didn't play very well last week in a tough matchup against the Jaguars, as he finished with just three receptions for 55 yards on five targets.

He'll look to bounce back this week in a decent matchup against the Colts. Overall, Indy has been favorable towards receivers, but they haven't allowed much in recent weeks. Diggs is well-known for his multiple-reception games, but the Colts have allowed just eight, nine, and six total team receptions to wideouts in the last three games, respectively.

As Diggs owners know, he can blow up any week -- just as easily as he can have a dud. He should be viewed as a WR2 with more upside in PPR formats.

MIN WR Stefon Diggs - Week 14, 2016 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 14 vs. Jacksonville
Stefon Diggs returned from injury last week and returned to his productive PPR ways. He had eight receptions for 59 yards, which isn't great, but could be a lot worse. As you can gather, he offers much more value in PPR formats.

He could struggle this week, however, against a tough Jags pass defense. The receptions may be there in an effort to get more passes to him, but don't expect a huge yardage day. He should be viewed as a WR3 in standard leagues and a WR2 in PPR.

MIN WR Stefon Diggs - Week 13, 2016 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 13 vs. Dallas
Stefon Diggs sat out last week with an injury, but he's expected to return against Dallas. Diggs had back-to-back games of 13 receptions a few weeks ago and then had a downer before suffering an injury.

When healthy, Diggs is a solid WR2, or low-end WR1 in PPR formats. He'll get a chance to return to form this week against a favorable Dallas defense. His injury status leaves us a bit curious as to how effective he'll be, so he should be viewed as a WR3 choice in standard formats and WR2 in PPR formats.

MIN WR Stefon Diggs - Week 12, 2016 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 12 vs. Detroit
Stefon Diggs is one of the most frustrating players in fantasy because he's so wildly inconsistent. After back-to-back 13-reception games, Diggs finished Week 11 with six catches for a mere 37 yards.

Diggs will have a strong upside this week in a decent matchup against the Lions. He obviously carries more value in PPR formats, but he's still a low-end WR1 play in standard formats.

MIN WR Stefon Diggs - Week 11, 2016 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 11 vs. Arizona
Stefon Diggs now has back-to-back games with 13 receptions, which is literally unheard of in the NFL as it set a record. Even more impressive is his efficiency. He caught 13-of-15 targets last week, as Sam Bradford kept it short, and allowed his receiver to make plays after the catch.

The 13-catch efforts should stop, but expect Diggs to continue his high level of production moving forward. He'll likely drop a bit this week due to a bad matchup against the Cardinals, but at least he appears to have recovered from his midseason slump. Diggs is a solid WR2 play, or low-end WR1 in PPR formats.

MIN WR Stefon Diggs - Week 10, 2016 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 10 vs. Washington
Stefon Diggs had an insane 13-reception game last week for 80 yards. He's now had two big PPR days the last two weeks, and it could be how the Vikings plan to use their talented receiver moving forward.

We're not expecting 13 receptions again, but Diggs should be viewed as a solid PPR threat. He could have trouble in Week 10 as he'll likely be matched up against Josh Norman throughout the game.

We like Diggs as a strong WR2 play this week.

MIN WR Stefon Diggs - Week 9, 2016 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 9 vs. Detroit
Stefon Diggs bounced back last week by catching eight passes for 76 yards and a touchdown. It's the first big day we've seen from him since his outbursts in the first two weeks of the season.

Diggs is an unreliable receiver due to the nature of Minnestoa's offense, but there's a stronger chance of a big game this week against Detroit. The Lions have been awful against the pass, which opens the door for Diggs. He'll be a low-end WR1 this week.

MIN WR Stefon Diggs - Week 8, 2016 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 8 vs. Chicago
Stefon Diggs continued his cold streak with a 2-for-18 effort last week. He's now been held under 50 yards in three straight games after starting the season with 100-yard efforts. We expect he'll have big games in the future, but they will be impossible to predict.

However, we would expect him to do well this week against the Bears. Chicago has allowed the most fantasy points to opposing wideouts this season.

It's hard to trust Diggs considering his slump, but he should be viewed as a WR2 with upside this week.

MIN WR Stefon Diggs - Week 7, 2016 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 7 vs. San Diego
Stefon Diggs missed the last Vikings game, but with two weeks of healing, he's expected to return in Week 7. Diggs had a monster start to the year, but the team's run-first offense has limited his production.

This week he gets a brutal matchup against the Eagles, which means he could be in for another low-production day. We like his talent, but his situation and matchup makes him nothing more than a WR2 or WR3 play.

MIN WR Stefon Diggs - Week 5, 2016 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 5 vs. Houston
Stefon Diggs' strong start to the season was promising, just as it was last year, but similar to 2015, his 2016 season has sizzled. Diggs has been held to under 50 yards in consecutive weeks, and has a strong chance of that happening for a third time when he faces Houston.

The Texans have allowed the third fewest fantasy points to opposing wideouts this season, including just one touchdown. Expect the Vikings to run the ball more than they pass it this week, leading to fewer targets for Diggs.

Considering his talent, it's hard to straight up bench Diggs, but he's more of a WR2 or WR3 play this week.
