SEA RB Mike Davis - Week 6 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 6 at Oakland Raiders
WIth starter Chris Carson out in Week 4, Mike Davis got an opportunity and rushed for over 100 yards and a touchdown. Last week, Carson was back and you would think Davis would be relegated to a lesser role. But Davis was effective rushing for 68 yards and a touchdown, showing Seattle will use many options at running back.

Davis will face the Raiders this week who are 20th in aFPA to running backs. One key for Davis is he seems to be the short yardage back which means when they get inside the 10, they could go to him. We do expect Davis to stay involved so he ranks an RB3 or flex for Week 6.

SEA RB Mike Davis - Week 5 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 5 vs. Los Angeles Rams
With Chris Carson banged up, Mike Davis will probably be the primary back for Week 5 for Seattle. Davis had 21 carries for 102 yards and two touchdowns last week so he is capabble of putting up decent fantasy numbers if he gets touches.

Davis will face the Rams who are 3rd in aFPA to running backs. It isn't a great matchup, and despite the encouraging numbers last week, Davis should remain on your bench for Week 5.

SEA RB Mike Davis - Week 17 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 17 vs. Arizona Cardinals

Mike Davis will be the main back again this week as he had 19 touches last game. He had only 43 yards from scrimmage, but the quantity of touches should be there again this week. He will face a Cardinals defense ranked sixth in aFPA to running backs.

It won't be easy for Davis to have great fantasy numbers, but the Seahawks will be going all out. Start Davis as a high-end RB3 or FLEX play for Week 17.

SEA RB Mike Davis - Week 16 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 16 at Dallas Cowboys

Mike Davis was a workhorse for two straight weeks, but last week he was held to 8 touches for 39 yards from scrimmage. The biggest issue was the blowout the Seahawks were in and that limited the offense in general. J.D. McKissic was on the field twice as much because Seattle was playing catch-up.

The Seahawks will face the Cowboys this week, who are ranked 11th in aFPA to running backs. We expect Seattle to go back to Davis as the primary back so he does have fantasy value in Week 16. Start him as in the FLEX or as an RB3 against Dallas.

SEA RB Mike Davis - Week 15 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 15 vs. Los Angeles Rams

Mike Davis gets to keep the title of No. 1 running back for Seattle for a second straight week, which has been a rarity this season. However, he is on the injury list (ribs) but should play. Last week, they weren't great numbers, but they were numbers—15 carries for 66 yards. With the 15 carries being the significant number.

Those numbers could repeat or be even better against a Rams defense ranked 17th in aFPA to running backs. Davis will get the touches and should have good enough numbers to warrant a fantasy start as a low-end RB2 for Week 15.

SEA RB Mike Davis - Week 14 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 14 at Jacksonville Jaguars

Next up, Mike Davis. The running back carousel continues in Seattle and that has to have fantasy owners throwing up their arms in defeat. Face it. If you drafted or picked up a Seahawks running back this season, you have been thoroughly disappointed. Davis had 20 touches last week so that's why he is the guy this week.

Davis will face the Jaguars who are very good against the pass but only 19th in aFPA to running backs. If Seattle gives him the ball, he should have some success similar to last week when he produced 101 yards from scrimmage. This is enough to pick him up and play him as an RB3 or in the FLEX spot for Week 14.

SF RB Mike Davis - Week 7, 2016 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 7 vs. Tampa Bay
With Carlos Hyde out this week - surprise, surprise - Davis will take over as the lead back in the backfield, but will share some time with Shaun Draughn. Davis, who had five carries for 13 yards last week at Buffalo and added one catch for six yards. He's also the most likely player to handle any goal line duties and Tampa Bay has given up six rushing TDs to running backs. Davis might worth a flex play this week or a flier if you're short because of injuries or bye.

SF RB Mike Davis - Week 6, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 6 vs. Baltimore
If Carlos Hyde doesn't play this week, Davis could pick up the slack even though he's been inactive at times this season.
