SEA WR Doug Baldwin - Week 13, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 13: Baldwin vs 49ers
Doug Baldwin tied his season-low with two catches last Sunday. He has not really taken advantage of the Percy Harvin trade despite being the No.1 guy for the Seahawks. He has not played great against San Francisco in the past, and the matchup is not good this week. The Niners are ranked 4th in aFPA to wide receivers so Baldwin should not be anywhere near your starting lineup. We have him as a WR5 play.

SEA WR Doug Baldwin - Week 12, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 12: Baldwin vs Cardinals

Doug Baldwin had six catches and nine targets for 45 yards and a touchdown Sunday against the Chiefs. It was only his second touchdown of the season and the yardage totals continue to be low which owners were expecting to go up when Percy Harvin was traded. (Only one 100+ receiving yard game since).

Baldwin is still the most targeted receiver but that really doesn't mean much in the conservative Seattle offense we have seen the past several weeks. Arizona is this week's opponent and they are 16th in aFPA to wide receivers so the matchup is neutral for Week 12. With most teams playing this week, keep Baldwin on the bench as there are better options available.

SEA WR Doug Baldwin - Week 11, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 11: Baldwin vs Chiefs

It seems Dioug Baldwin is still the No. 1 receiver in Seattle, but that's not really saying much. His targets remain around 6 a game, but his overall output has been low. Over the last two games, he has only 69 yards receiving.

Kansas City is 10th in aFPA to wide receivers so don't expect Baldwin to explode this week. He still only has one touchdown on the season so he hasn't even helped in that department.

We don't like any of the Seattle receivers this week, so keep Baldwin on the bench for Week 11.

SEA WR Doug Baldwin - Week 10, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 10: Baldwin vs Giants

Since Percy Harvin was traded, we expected Baldwin's targets to go up, and they have, but not as much considering he is their No. 1 receiver. Last week, he caught six passes, but for only 36 yards and did not score a touchdown. Baldwin is also being bothered by a bad groin although he did practice on Thursday.

It's not a great matchup for Baldwin for Week 10 because the Giants are ranked 5th in aFPA to wide receivers. He still has some value because of his role in the offense, but he only ranks a low-end WR3 or flex this weekend.

SEA WR Doug Baldwin - Week 9, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 9: Baldwin vs Raiders
After putting up No. 1 receiver type numbers after the Percy Harvin trade, Doug Baldwin took a step back. The targets and catches were there, but the receiving yards and touchdowns were not. The roller coaster season for all the Seahawks wide receivers probably will continue.

Baldwin is still the best bet of the all the Seattle receivers. He will face the Raiders who are 16th in aFPA to wide receivers. He has the potential to have a decent game and rates a high-end No. 3 or flex for Week 9.

SEA WR Doug Baldwin - Week 7, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 7: Baldwin vs Rams
Doug Baldwin's low targets are producing low fantasy numbers and that is because Russell Wilson seems to have a Wide Receiver du jour each week. Baldwin is still the No. 2 Seattle wide out, but his numbers are not good enough, even against a poor Rams secondary.

Keep Baldwin on the bench for Week 7.

SEA WR Doug Baldwin - Week 6, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 6: Baldwin vs. Cowboys
The numbers continue to be consistent for Doug Baldwin. They aren't great, good enough to get him noticed, but not enough to warrant him being in your starting lineup, especially against the Cowboys pass defense. Keep Baldwin on the bench.

SEA WR Doug Baldwin - Week 5, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 5: Baldwin vs. Redskins
Doug Baldwin has averaged about 5 targets per game and that's about where he will be most of the season. Russell Wilson spreads the ball around so much that no Seahawks' wide receiver will be consistently targeted.

Because of that, Baldwin is not a good play unless something changes. Keep him on the bench, even with the good matchup with Washington.

SEA WR Doug Baldwin - Week 3, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 3: Baldwin vs Broncos
Doug Baldwin's numbers were very low again Week 2 with only three catches and 35 yards, which was slightly better than Week 1. So far, it has been lows for him, but he will have some highs.

But it's a guessing game. Will that high come this week against Denver? Maybe. The consistency is what kills the 'Hawks receivers. Keep him on the bench for Week 3 against the Broncos.
