SEA WR Doug Baldwin - Week 17, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 17 at Arizona

Doug Baldwin continued his hot play with a touchdown for the fifth straight game and his third 100+ yard receiving game of the season. He also was targeted a season-high 10 times. Things look good for Baldwin as he has taken the No. 1 receiver role and ran with it.

Things might not be so easy on the road against Arizona. The Cards are 13th in aFPA to wide receivers which means no advantage either way. But the good news is Baldwin had a gigantic game the first time the two teams played. Start Baldwin but only as a WR2 for Week 17.

SEA WR Doug Baldwin - Week 16, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 16 vs St. Louis

Doug Baldwin scored another two touchdowns last week in an otherwise quiet game for the 'Hawks No. 1 receiver. That would make 10 over the last four games. He has really found a rhythm with QB Russell Wilson.

It might be a different story this week as the Rams have done a good job with their pass defense. They are ranked 7th in aFPA to wide receivers. But honestly, the way Baldwin and Wilson have been playing overrides that matchup. Take the hot hand and start Baldwin as a solid No. 1 fantasy wide receiver for Week 16.

SEA WR Doug Baldwin - Week 15, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 15 vs Cleveland
The hottest receiver in the NFL is Doug Baldwin. Most of the success QB Russell Wilson has had over the past five games has been directly linked to the veteran wide receiver. Over that span, Baldwin is averaging eight targets, six catches, and 103 yards per game. After scoring two touchdowns in his first eight games, Baldwin has scored nine in the last five.

He must be licking his chops for Week 15. Cleveland is 25th in aFPA to wide receivers and 'Hawks are at home where are very good. Start Baldwin as a high-end WR1 for the first time this season as the hot streak continues.

Week 14 vs Baltimore

All of the sudden, people around the league are talking about the Russell Wilson-Doug Baldwin combo. With the Seahawks passing game clicking, both players have put up monster numbers and made their fantasy owners very happy. Baldwin has caught 24 passes for 433 yards over the past four games and throw in six touchdowns as well.

The 'Hawks face the Ravens in Week 14 and Baltimore is 18th in aFPA to wide receivers. If Wilson keeps it up, Baldwin will be the recipient of a big numbers. Start Baldwin this week as a low-end WR2.

SEA WR Doug Baldwin - Week 13, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 13 vs Vikings
It was a breakout game for Doug Baldwin (more for Russell Wilson, but Baldwin was a major beneficiary). The 'Hawks No. 1 receiver caught six passes for 135 yards and three touchdowns, but take those numbers with a grain of salt. Pittsburgh's secondary is one of the worst in the NFL. With that said, it shows what Baldwin is capable of if the matchup is favorable.

The Seahawks face Minnesota this week, who is 18th in aFPA in wide receivers, so Baldwin could have another good game this week. But not even close to the numbers he put up last week. Start Baldwin as a solid WR3 or flex for Week 13.

SEA WR Doug Baldwin - Week 12, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 12 vs Pittsburgh
Doug Baldwin remains the No. 1 wide receiver for QB Russell Wilson. He caught six passes for 60 yards last week and has been a bigger part of the offense over the past couple weeks. He is listed as questionable with an ankle injury and missed practice Thursday, but he and Pete Carroll said he will play Sunday. Although it is a favorable matchup against Pittsburgh, who is 28th in aFPA to wide receivers, we are not expecting a big game from Baldwin this week. Keep him on the bench against the Steelers.

SEA WR Doug Baldwin - Week 11, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 11 vs San Francisco

Doug Baldwin had his best game of the season as he was targeted 10 times and caught 7 passes for a season-high 134 yards. He also scored his third touchdown of the season. Earlier in the year, it appeared these would be the type of numbers Baldwin was capable of putting up, but the passing game has never evolved in Seattle.

Baldwin has a decent matchup against San Francisco, who is 24th in aFPA to wide receivers. However, it's still hard to believe his numbers from last week will be repeat or even be close. Keep Baldwin on the bench for Week 11 until we see more games like the last.

SEA WR Doug Baldwin - Week 7, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 7 at San Francisco

Doug Baldwin only has 11 targets over the past three games, which has produced just nine catches. And with Russell Wilson finally getting Jimmy Graham more involved, those numbers could stay that way.

The Niners are 29th in aFPA to wide receivers, so the matchup pushes Baldwin's value up (but not enough to insert him in your starting lineup unless you are desperate with injuries and bye weeks). Sit Baldwin for Week 7.

SEA WR Doug Baldwin - Week 6, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 6 vs Carolina

For the third straight game, Doug Baldwin's targets have been very low. He has only been targeted 11 times in three games, which has produced nine catches. He still is Seattle's No. 1 receiver, but that hasn't meant much since Russell Wilson took over at QB.

Baldwin draws a tough matchup this week against Carolina, who is 3rd in aFPA to wide receivers. Baldwin is relegated to the bench for Week 6.

SEA WR Doug Baldwin - Week 5, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 5 at Cincinnati

Doug Baldwin's numbers weren't great on Monday, but a TD reception definitely helped his owners. He is still the most consistent receiver for Seattle, but that doesn't always turn into production.

His matchup against Cincinnati this week is neutral, but on the road, we don't like the 'Hawks passing offense as much as at home. We advise you to keep Baldwin on the bench for Week 5, although he is a borderline WR3/flex.
