Coby Fleener - Week 8 vs. Pittsburgh
Coby Fleener is inconsistent with his production. He had a solid 4-64 in Week 7, but he's had four games this season with two receptions or less. He's not a reliable option when it comes to fantasy.
Coby Fleener - Week 7 vs. Cincinnati
Coby Fleener has three touchdowns in his last four games, but he's doing much past that. He's averaging 25 yards per game this season and just over two catches. He's not a reliable option, even in a favorable matchup against Cincinnati.
Coby Fleener - Week 6 vs. Houston
Coby Fleener hasn't finished a game with 50 receiving yards or more all season. His production simply isn't high enough to be a reliable option. Dwayne Allen is getting most of the attention this season and is the better Colts TE to own in fantasy.
Fleener has a chance to catch a TD (he has two on the season), but that's a big gamble.
Coby Fleener - Week 5 vs. Baltimore
Coby Fleener has now caught a touchdown in back-to-back games. But that's about all he's done. Unless you feel like gambling Fleener will find the endzone, he's not worth consideration in fantasy.
Coby Fleener - Week 4 vs. Tennessee Titans
Coby Fleener had his best game of the season in Week 3. The Jaguars have struggled against tight ends all season and allowed Fleener to catch four passes for 49 yards and a touchdown. Before Week 3 Fleener was averaging just 17 yards per game. He's not a reliable option at tight end and shouldn't be started this week.
Coby Fleener - Week 3 vs. Jacksonville
The Colts learned their lesson with Coby Fleener after one week. In Week 1 Fleener saw eight targets, but only caught three passes for 21 yards. In Week 2 he was only targeted once and caught that pass for 13 yards.
He draws a favorable matchup against Jacksonville, but he just hasn't been very productive. He's not reliable enough to be worth a look.
Coby Fleener - Week 2 vs. Philadelphia
Coby Fleener saw eight targets in Week 1 (only Reggie Wayne and T.Y. Hilton had more), but was very unproductive. He caught just three balls for 21 yards. He also dropped a ball, which ended up leading to an interception.
Dwayne Allen out-produced Fleener (4-64-1) on less targets in Week 1. The Colts may look to give Allen more opportunities in the passing game moving forward.
Avoid Fleener in fantasy.
Coby Fleener - Week 1 vs. Denver Broncos
Coby Fleener had a fine performance against the Denver Broncos last season. He caught five passes for 38 yards and scored. Denver struggled against tight ends last seasons, but that may not be completely good news for Fleener. With Dwayne Allen healthy and back in the lineup, targets may be hard to come by. Fleener is a low-end TE2 option this week.
Coby Fleener had a chance to really have a big season in 2013. After Dwayne Allen and Reggie Wayne went down with injury, the Colts weren't left with many options. Fleener only managed 52 receptions for 608 yards and four touchdowns in his sophomore year. Heading into his third season, there's not a lot of reason to see how Fleener will improve those numbers.
Allen is returning, as well as Wayne, and the Colts even added Hakeem Nicks to the mix. Fleener's only value this season will be if Allen suffers another injury. Even then, he's not very reliable.
