LAR RB Kyren Williams - Week 17 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 17 at New York Giants

Once again, Kyren Williams is our RB2 this weekend. He tallied 22 carries in Week 16. That's four straight weeks of 20+ carries. Williams found the end zone and cracked 100 rushing yards once again in Week 16.

One slightly concerning development was his disappearance from the passing game. He didn't earn a single target against the Saints. The four weeks leading into Week 16, he earned 22 total targets so we're hoping that was just a blip on the radar. He's locked and loaded for finals weekend.

Week 16 vs. New Orleans Saints

The only thing standing between Kyren Williams and our RB1 spot is Christian McCaffrey. We have him at RB2 with a projected 23 touches.

That seems like a conservative estimate given his workload lately. Over the last three weeks, he's averaging 28 touches with a significant receiving role. He's seen 16 targets in that short stretch of games. Williams is a must-start in all formats.

Week 15 vs. Washington Commanders

Kyren Williams is coming off a 28-touch game, including three receptions. He rushed for over 100 yards for the third time in his last four appearances. Since his return three weeks ago he's seen 20+ opportunities week-in and week-out.

We have him ranked as our RB2 on the week, trailing only Christian McCaffrey. They're the only two running backs projected for over 20 half-PPR points. No point in over-thinking this one, he's an auto-start again this week.

LAR RB Kyren Williams - Week 14 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 14 at Baltimore Ravens

Kyren Williams comes into the week as our RB10 in half-PPR. After his explosive comeback two weeks ago, he turned in a solid performance. Williams found the end zone again and put up 88 yards on the ground.

Another encouraging sign with his performance is his target share. He saw another five targets last week which would provide a stable floor if it continues. Williams is an every week starter for the stretch run and through the playoffs.

LAR RB Kyren Williams - Week 13 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 13 vs Cleveland Browns

Kyren Williams returned with a bang last week. He picked up right where he left off in his return from injury. Williams went for 143 rushing yards and added six receptions, 61 yards, and two touchdowns as a receiver.

We have him as RB7 this week despite the tough matchup against Cleveland. We're only a few weeks removed from Jaylen Warren putting up 23.5 PPR Points on this defense on just 12 opportunities. The combination of Williams' workload and big play ability puts him as a must-start again in Week 13.

LAR RB Kyren Williams - Week 12 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 12 at Arizona Cardinals

Kyren Williams is making his triumphant return to the lineup this weekend. Our projections have him at RB11 for this contest. His breakout season hit a road bump. Last we saw him, he topped 150 yards and found the end zone against this Arizona defense.

From the start, Sean McVay had asserted that he'd be back for Week 12 so it appears that his IR stint was plenty of time to get him back fully healthy and ready to pick up where he left off. Barring late surprise news, it's hard to imagine not inserting him right back into your lineups.

Week 7 vs. Pittsburgh Steelers

Kyren Williams is expected to miss multiple weeks with an ankle sprain. There's some hope that he makes it back prior to the team's bye in Week 10, but it's unclear if that will happen at this point.
