MIA WR Jaylen Waddle - Week 12 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 12 at New York Jets

Jaylen Waddle had an OK game last week, finishing with four receptions for 55 yards on eight targets. Some owners may have expected a little bit more production considering Tyreek Hill was gone for a large chunk of the game, but it wasn't a terrible outing by Waddle. This week Waddle draws a tough matchup against the Jets who are 1st in aFPA to WRs this season. The matchup has us a little concerned, but this Dolphins offense has been too good to really think about benching any of the notable guys. Waddle should be viewed as a high-end WR2 option in Week 12.

MIA WR Jaylen Waddle - Week 11 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 11 vs. Las Vegas Raiders

Jaylen Waddle was OK in his last outing, finishing 3-42 on six targets. Waddle hasn't been tearing it up like his teammate Tyreek Hill this year, but he's been consistent enough to make him a valuable fantasy asset. He's caught a touchdown in three of his last five games, and has at least 40 yards in every game but one this season. This week he gets an OK matchup vs. the Raiders who are 13th in aFPA to WRs. Waddle should be viewed as a low-end WR1 option this week.

MIA WR Jaylen Waddle - Week 9 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 9 at Kansas City Chiefs

Jaylen Waddle had his best game of the year last week as he set season highs in targets (12), receptions (7) and receiving yards (121). He also found the end zone, giving him a touchdown in three of his last four games. Week 8 was the perfect showcase of how both Tyreek Hill and Waddle can have big games at the same time as they each topped 100 receiving yards. This week, Waddle draws a tough matchup against the Chiefs who are 4th in aFPA to WRs. It's a tough matchup, but we'd trust Miami's offense to continue putting up their high level of production. Waddle should be viewed as a solid WR1 option in Week 9.

MIA WR Jaylen Waddle - Week 8 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 8 vs. New England Patriots

Jaylen Waddle had another solid outing last week, finishing 6-63 on six targets. Waddle hasn't been as dominant as his teammate Tyreek Hill this season, but he's still putting up solid numbers. Waddle has at least four receptions in every game, and at least 50 yards in all but two games this year. He'll draw a tough matchup against the Patriots this week (9th aFPA) although he saw some success against New England back in Week 2 when he finished 4-86. Waddle should be viewed as a low-end WR2 or a strong WR3 option in Week 8 against the Patriots. Waddle would be bumped up if Hill is unable to go due to an ankle injury.

MIA WR Jaylen Waddle - Week 7 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 7 at Philadelphia Eagles

Jaylen Waddle had a productive game last week as he finished 7-51-1 on nine targets. His last two games he's seen 19 targets, which is promising since he only saw 16 targets in his first three games this season. As a result, he's now scored a touchdown in back-to-back games. Waddle should continue to find success as he draws a favorable matchup this week against the Eagles. Philly is 29th in aFPA to WRs this season. Waddle should be viewed as a must-start option at WR in Week 7.

MIA WR Jaylen Waddle - Week 6 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 6 vs. Carolina Panthers

Jaylen Waddle saw a team-high 10 targets last week, but he wasn't very efficient with five catches for 35 yards. On the plus side, though, he was able to score his first touchdown of the season. It's a small sample size, but Waddle hasn't been as effective after his injury that forced him to miss Week 3. In the first two games he averaged 82 yards per game and in the two games since he's averaged 40.5. On the season, he's averaging 18.5 yards less per game compared to last year. But like we said, it's a sample size, and Waddle is still a very talented wideout in the most productive offense in the league so far. He doesn't get a great matchup against the Panthers this week (7th aFPA), but he should still be viewed as a decent WR2 in Week 6.

MIA WR Jaylen Waddle - Week 5 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 5 vs. New York Giants

Jaylen Waddle hasn't quite lived up to expectations this season with performances of 4-78, 4-86 and 4-46. But he's also faced two tough defenses in the Bills and Patriots, and missed out on the Broncos scoring frenzy with an injury. We'd expect his production to pick up as he draws easier opponents. This week he faces a Giants defense that's been tough in fantasy to WRs, placing 10th in aFPA. But as a whole, this Giants D has given up 30.5 points per games to teams, which is the 3rd-most in the league. We like Waddle as a low-end WR1 option for Week 5.
