Scouting report

BAL WR Willie Snead - Week 16 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 16 at Cleveland Browns

Willie Snead was held to just one catch and 15 yards last week. While he does have five touchdowns this season, he’s yet to eclipse 20 yards in a game since early October and is far too risky to bank on in any format. He should remain on waivers across all leagues.

BAL WR Willie Snead - Week 15 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 15 vs. New York Jets

Willie Snead scored a touchdown last week against the Bills and he’s actually hit paydirt five times this season. However, he’s failed to gain more than 18 yards in any of his last eight games and the Ravens’ passing offense has been primarily driven to the tight ends and running backs the past few weeks. While he’s a threat for the end zone, he’s far too risky to trust, despite a nice matchup against the Jets this week. Leave him on waivers.

BAL WR Willie Snead - Week 14 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 14 at Buffalo Bills

Willie Snead had only one catch for 12 yards last week in a tough matchup against the 49ers. Snead has scored four times this year, including two against the Rams in Week 12, but he’s failed to eclipse even 20 yards receiving in any of his last seven games and the Ravens simply cannot sustain more than one – if even one – fantasy receiver. Snead should stay on waivers with another tough matchup against the Bills this week.

BAL WR Willie Snead - Week 13 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 13 vs. San Francisco 49ers

Willie Snead had two touchdowns last week, doubling his season total, but those were his only two catches of the day and he was limited to just 14 yards in a throttling of the Rams. Snead hasn’t eclipsed 20 yards in a game since October 6th, making it hard to trust him in any given week. With the tough 49ers defense next on the slate, Snead should be on the bench – if not on waivers – in all league formats.

BAL WR Willie Snead - Week 12 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 12 at Los Angeles Rams

Willie Snead is the number two wide receiver in this offense based on snaps, but the offense simply isn’t producing numbers for him in that role. He has two touchdowns this season, only 21 catches and has failed to score double-digit PPR points in any of his last six games. Snead has talent and some potential upside if he gets the looks, but at three targets per game, it’s hard to think it’ll happen at any point this season. Keep him on waivers.

BAL WR Willie Snead - Week 11 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 11 vs. Houston Texans

Willie Snead has lead Ravens’ wide receivers in snaps this season, but he’s still not producing consistent fantasy numbers. He was targeted only twice against the Bengals last week, catching two balls for 12 yards. He has only seven catches and 45 receiving yards combined over his past four games, and until he shows any kind of regular production fantasy owners should leave him on waivers in all formats.

BAL WR Willie Snead - Week 10 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 10 at Cincinnati Bengals

Willie Snead caught two passes for 15 yards last week against the Patriots. He’s definitely the second-best wide receiver on the team while rookie Miles Boykin continues to develop, but the Ravens aren’t passing enough to sustain multiple wide receivers in most fantasy leagues. As such, Snead probably shouldn’t be rostered, even in a nice matchup against the hapless Bengals.
