WAS WR Terry McLaurin - Week 11 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 11 vs. New York Giants

Terry McLaurin had a modest outing last week, finishing 4-33 on a team-high 8 targets. McLaurin nearly matched his season-low of 31 yards in what was a fairly disappointing outing for him. McLaurin should get back on track this week against the Giants. It's a favorable matchup as the Giants are 26th in aFPA to WRs. McLaurin played well against the Giants just a few weeks ago when he finished 6-90. He should be viewed as a solid WR2 play for Week 11.

Week 10 at Seattle Seahawks

Terry McLaurin had a solid outing last week, finishing with five receptions for 73 yards on eight targets. McLaurin has topped 60 receiving yards in five of his last six games, and has at least four receptions in that span. The only negative to McLaurin is his lack of scoring as he has just two receiving touchdowns (plus a recovered fumble score). McLaurin should be in line for another productive game as he draws a favorable matchup vs. the Seahawks (26th aFPA). McLaurin can be viewed as a low-end WR1 option for Week 10.

Week 9 at New England Patriots

Terry McLaurin saw a team-high 12 targets last week, finishing 5-63-1. McLaurin is off to a good start in 2023 as he's averaging 5.3 receptions for 61.9 yards per game so far. In Week 9 he'll draw a tough matchup against the Patriots. New England is 8th in aFPA to WRs this season. We project McLaurin to finish similar to what he's been averaging so far this year, which would make him a low-end WR2 option for Week 9.

Week 8 vs. Philadelphia Eagles

Terry McLaurin had a solid outing last week, finishing 6-90 on nine targets. McLaurin has now topped at least six receptions and 80 receiving yards in three of his last four games. The Eagles were the first opponent McLaurin had 80+ receiving yards against, and that's who McLaurin faces in Week 8. The Eagles are a favorable matchup as they're 29th in aFPA to WRs. Given McLaurin's recent production spike and the favorable matchup, he should be viewed as a strong WR2 play this week.

WAS WR Terry McLaurin - Week 7 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 7 at New York Giants

Terry McLaurin easily led Washington in targets last week as he saw 11 (the second-highest saw four). As a result, he had a strong stat line of 6-81. McLaurin hasn't been overly dominate this season, but he's been fairly consistent with at least four receptions and 40 receiving yards in five consecutive games. This week he gets a middle-of-the-road matchup against the Giants (13th aFPA). Last season, McLaurin played well against the Giants with stat lines of 8-105-1 and 6-70-0, although obviously a lot has changed in the past year. We like McLaurin as a solid WR2 option this week.

Week 6 at Atlanta Falcons

Sam Howell threw the ball 51 times last week, but surprisingly Terry McLaurin only saw five targets, finishing 4-49-0. Three of those five targets came on Washington's final three drives of the game as McLaurin was mostly ignored despite the Commanders passing nearly every play. The ball was spread around a lot as 10 players had at least two targets for Washington. McLaurin's low production could continue this week as he gets a tough matchup against the Falcons who are 3rd in aFPA to WRs. We like McLaurin as a WR3 for Week 6.

WAS WR Terry McLaurin - Week 5 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 5 vs Chicago Bears

Terry McLaurin saw a team-high 10 targets last week, finishing 8-86. McLaurin's targets, receptions and receiving yards in Week 4 were all season highs for him. He also lucked into a touchdown as he recovered a teammate's fumble in the end zone. Through four games this season, McLaurin is averaging 5.3 receptions for 53 yards, which means he averages double digits in PPR formats, which is a nice mark to clear. This week, he draws a favorable matchup against a poor Bears defense. We like him as a strong WR2 play for Week 5.
