Scouting report

CIN WR Tee Higgins - Week 14 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 14 vs. Cleveland Browns
Tee Higgins caught only three passes for 35 yards but did have a touchdown. He is nursing a sore hamstring but is expected to play this week. Part of the reason for the low numbers was the return of No. 1 receiver Ja'Marr Chase. He will still be capable of some big games, but falls below Chase in the rankings.

Higgins will face the Browns this week. He had three receptions for 49 yards in the first meeting with Cleveland this season. They are ranked 7th in aFPA to wide receivers, so advantage to the Browns.

Start Higgins as high-end WR2 for Week 14. Even with Chase back, Higgins will still put up good fantasy numbers if he is healthy. Keep an eye on the injury report.

CIN WR Tee Higgins - Week 13 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 13 vs. Kansas City Chiefs
With Ja'Marr Chase still sidelined last week, Tee Higgins was the star once again with his second straight 100+ receiving yard game. He also scored his fourth touchdown of the season. Chase is expected to return which will take some opportunities away from Higgins but he still will be a major factor.

The Chiefs are ranked 23rd in aFPA to wide receivers so the Cincinnati passing game should put up some numbers. In the two meetings with KC last season, Higgins had a combined 165 receiving yards including a 100+ receiving yard game in the playoffs.

Start Higgins as a solid WR2 for Week 13 if Chase plays. If he doesn't, Higgins moves up to a WR1 spot.

CIN WR Tee Higgins - Week 12 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 12 at Tennessee Titans
Tee Higgins had a season-high 13 targets which produced season highs for receptions (9) and receiving yards (148). The only negative was he didn't score a touchdown. Enjoy that game now from Higgins, because it might not happen again as No. 1 receiver Ja'Marr Chase is expected to return from a hip injury and play on Sunday.

Higgins will face the Titans who are ranked 31st in aFPA to wide receivers. The favorable matchup will help the Bengals passing game which tore up Pittsburgh last Sunday.

Start Higgins as a solid WR2 for Week 12. If Chase can't play, Higgins gets elevated to a high-end WR2.

CIN WR Tee Higgins - Week 11 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 11 at Pittsburgh Steelers
Tee Higgins was solid in the blowout win over Carolina last game before the bye with seven receptions for 60 yards. We are still waiting for that monster game with Ja'Marr Chase out, but it hasn't come yet. Higgins is a physical phenom and should have several of those games in the second half of the season.

Higgins faces Pittsburgh who is ranked 30th in aFPA to wide receivers. In the first meeting this season, he had only two receptions for 27 yards but that was with Chase in the lineup. Last season, he had a 100+ receiving yard game against the Steelers.

Start Higgins as a solid WR1 for Week 11. We like this matchup against a questionable Pittsburgh secondary who will probably be without Pro Bowls saftey Minkah Fitzpatrick. Big game coming for Tee.

CIN WR Tee Higgins - Week 9 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 9 vs. Carolina Panthers
In the first game without Ja'Marr Chase, the Bengals passing game struggled at times and Tee Higgins had an average night with six targets that produced three receptions for 49 yards. He did score his third touchdown of the season. Expectations were higher as Higgins is the No. 1 receiver until Chase's return.

The Panthers are up next and are ranked 23rd in aFPA to wide receivers. Higgins is still settling into his role but there are other issues, as that might make him more of a target for opposing defenses.

Start Higgins as a low-end WR1 for Week 9 despite the good matchup. He should put up some good numbers but he's not like Chase in what he's capable of doing when he is on the field.

CIN WR Tee Higgins - Week 8 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 8 at Cleveland Browns
Tee Higgins had his best game in several weeks as it seems his bad ankle has healed. He caught five passes for 93 yards which tied his second-highest receiving yardage total of the season. The Bengals offense has been playing well so it is expected that all of the Cincy receivers should start fulfilling expectations. With Ja'Marr Chase out 4 to 6 weeks, Higgins' role is elevated.

Higgins faces the Browns who are ranked 26th in aFPA to wide receivers. For his career, he has 14 receptions for 184 yards with one touchdown against Cleveland in 3 previous meetings.

Start Higgins as a solid WR2 for Week 8. The matchup is very favorable and Cincy has gotten their act together on offense. Higgins should have a big game.

CIN WR Tee Higgins - Week 7 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 7 vs. Atlanta Falcons
Tee Higgins was back up to nine targets last week which produced six receptions for 47 yards. It was better than the week before when he was active and got zero targets because he sat in the second quarter and never came back in the game because of an ailing ankle. He was back to a full practice on Thursday which is encouraging.

The Falcons are up next and are ranked 29th in aFPA to wide receivers. We expect Higgins to start piling up numbers again now that his ankle isn't hindering his play.

With a very favorable a matchup and an offense that is finally starting to click again, start Higgins as a low-end WR1 for Week 7. That's saying something with his teammate Ja'Marr Chase also ranked a WR1, but we feel both will have big games this Sunday.
