Scouting report

TB RB Sean Tucker - Week 4 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 4 at New Orleans Saints

With Chase Edmonds placed on IR, we thought Sean Tucker might see more playing time. Instead, he saw a season-low four offensive snaps. During those snaps, he ran just twice for one yard. Tucker hasn't done much of anything through three games, and at this point should only be rostered in really deep leagues. He's off the fantasy radar in Week 4.

TB RB Sean Tucker - Week 3 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 3 vs Philadelphia Eagles

Sean Tucker played 24% of the offensive snaps in Week 2, but struggled to get anything going. He had eight carries but only managed to finish with 7 yards and saw no targets as a receiver. The good news for Tucker is that Chase Edmonds has been placed on injured reserve, so he has no competition for those backup duties. But Tucker hasn't shown much through two games and isn't really on the fantasy radar for Week 3.

TB RB Sean Tucker - Week 2 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 2 vs. Chicago Bears

As expected, undrafted rookie Sean Tucker earned the No. 2 job in this backfield over veteran Chase Edmonds. Although the two of them were close in playing time with Tucker seeing 10 snaps to Edmonds' eight. Tucker saw more work, though, finishing with seven touches to Edmonds' two. Still, Tucker didn't quite see enough action to make him valuable in fantasy. He should be avoided in Week 2 despite a decent matchup vs. the Bears.

TB RB Sean Tucker - Week 1 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 1 at Minnesota Vikings

Sean Tucker has been getting some preseason hype since he officially landed the No. 2 job on the depth chart behind Rachaad White. Tucker is a player to keep an eye on, but at the end of the day he's an undrafted rookie running back. There's too much risk involved to trust him in Week 1. But if he ends up playing a decent amount, then he could be worth a waiver add.
