Scouting report

NYJ WR Quincy Enunwa - Week 1 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 1 vs Buffalo
The Jets still love Quincy Enunwa who will have a major role in the offense. They think he can return to his 2016 form and last season was a recovery season for him after missing all of 2017 with a broken neck.

Enunwa's impact will be limited Week 1 as the matchup is very tough against Buffalo who was fifth in aFPA to wide receivers in 2018. Enunwa is a borderline roster player and probably third-best option on the Jets roster for fantasy. Keep him on the waiver wire to start the season and see how he performs early on.

NYJ WR Quincy Enunwa - 2019 Fantasy Football Outlook

Fantasy Upside
It was a bounce-back season for Quincy Enunwa who missed the entire 2017 season. The Jets have confidence in him as they rewarded him with a new four-year extension. In 2016, Enunwa was targeted 105 times, had 58 catches for 857 yards. New York feels he can get to that level again.

Fantasy Downside
Injuries have been the major issue for Enunwa. He missed five games last season after missing 2017. He will also be competing with new acquisition Jamison Crowder for targets which could limit his production.

2019 Bottom Line
Enunwa is a depth player at this point. His ADP is 245 which is much too low. He could be a good selection in rounds 17 through 20 instead of the 20 to 25 where he is being selected. Enunwa could be a bargain with a high ceiling at a low price.

NYJ WR Quincy Enunwa - Week 14 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 14 at Buffalo Bills

Quincy Enunwa has had the most targets of any Jets receiver this season (actually tied with Jermaine Kearse), but it hasn't produced the numbers Enunwa put up two seasons ago. Last week, he caught two passes for 9 yards. He has only one touchdown all season.

Enunwa will face the Bills who are second in aFPA to wide receivers. With rookie QB Sam Darnold returning to the lineup and a tough matchup, Enunwa is the best fantasy option of all the Jets receivers, but should be nowhere near your starting lineup.

NYJ WR Quincy Enunwa - Week 13 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 13 at Tennessee Titans

The Jets threw the ball 45 times last week against New England. That produced four receptions for 73 yards for Quincy Enunwa. With Josh McCown at quarterback, New York was hoping for a spark in the passing game, but it really hasn't happened yet after two weeks.

New York will face Tennesse who is 30th in aFPA to wide receivers. Despite the good matchup, we don't think this will help the Jets very much. They are spreading the ball around and Enunwa is probably the most likely to have a good game, but overall his rating sticks him on the bench for Week 13.

NYJ WR Quincy Enunwa - Week 12 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 12 vs. New England Patriots

The Jets return from the bye week in hopes that QB Josh McCown can find some of that 2017 magic. Quincy Enunwa had four receptions in McCown's first start of the season, but for only 18 yards. Enunwa remains the most targeted Jets receiver and the best fantasy option from the receiving corp.

Enunwa faces the Patriots who are 19th in aFPA to wide receivers. The Jets passing game has not been good, even before QB Sam Darnold got hurt. Keep Enunwa on the bench for Week 12.

NYJ WR Quincy Enunwa - Week 6 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 6 vs. Indianapolis Colts
Quincy Enunwa had zero catches in Week 5 despite 5 targets. The Jets passing game is struggling with rookie quarterback Sam Darnold and that is affecting Enunwa and the rest of the receivers. Enunwa still has twice as many targets as any other Jets receiver so we will consider it an off week.

The Jets will face the Colts who are 23rd in aFPA to wide receivers. A good matchup won't help the consistency of Darnold, which leaves some question marks about Enunwa who rates a WR3 or flex against Indy for Week 6.

NYJ WR Quincy Enunwa - Week 5 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 5 vs. Denver Broncos
Quincy Enunwa remains the top targeted Jets receiver, and it's not even close. He is averaging over nine per game which is more than twice that of Robby Anderson who was expected to be the Jets primary receiver. However, it hasn't produced great results. Last week, Enunwa only caught four passes for 66 yards and has not had a touchdown since Week 1.

Enunwa will face the Broncos who are 7th in aFPA to wide receivers. With a tough matchup and lack of production lately with a rookie quarterback, Enunwa's stock isn't as high as you might think with the touches he has been getting. He only rates a low-end WR3 or flex for Week 5.
