MIA WR Preston Williams - Week 4 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 4 vs. Los Angeles Chargers

For the second straight game, Preston Williams led the Dolphins in receiving yards, finishing 4-68. Miami tried to force-feed Williams the ball in Week 3, targeting him 12 times, which was almost double the second receiving option on the team. He's the best receiver in fantasy for Miami, but his ceiling is obviously limited. He should be viewed as a WR4 in a middle-of-the-road matchup against the Chargers.

MIA WR Preston Williams - Week 3 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 3 at Dallas Cowboys

For the second straight week, Preston Williams was Miami's most fantasy-relevant receiver. In Week 1 he caught the Dolphins' only touchdown of the season. In Week 2 he led the team in receiving yards with 63 (on four catches, six targets). His ceiling will obviously be limited because he's playing on the Dolphins, but he's looked good so far. He should be viewed more as a lower-end WR4 against Dallas.

MIA WR Preston Williams - Week 2 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 2 vs. New England Patriots

Preston Williams had a solid Week 1 considering he went undrafted this year. The rookie who made noise in training camp played on 42% of the Dolphins' offensive snaps the first week, finishing 3-24-1 on five targets. Nothing too special, aside from catching Miami's lone touchdown. He's a player worth monitoring, but probably not worth starting.

MIA WR Preston Williams - Week 1 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 1 vs. Baltimore Ravens

Preston Williams is an undrafted free agent who turned heads in training camp. He's got good size, listed at 6-5, 218 pounds. He'll have a chance to make a name for himself in Miami as the Dolphins are thin at receiver after trading away Kenny Stills. We wouldn't suggest starting Williams this week, especially against the Ravens, but he's a player to keep an eye on in case he breaks out among the crowd.
