MIA RB Patrick Laird - Week 12 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 12 at Cleveland Browns

Patrick Laird is a player to keep an eye on as he saw increased usage last week. He played 23% of the offensive snaps and turned out to be a solid receiving threat, catching six of his six targets for 51 yards. We wouldn't recommend starting him this week, but you should see what he does and consider picking him up in Week 13 if he has another good game.

Week 10 at Indianapolis Colts

Kenyan Drake is gone, Mark Walton is suspended and Kalen Ballage is bad. This leaves some hope open for Patrick Laird and Myles Gaskin, the backups in Miami. But neither one has touched the football in their NFL careers. In fact, neither one has even played a single offensive snap. It's impossible to tell what role either will have this week. This situation is worth monitoring, but it'd be foolish to play anyone besides Ballage.
