Scouting report

DEN TE Noah Fant - Week 11 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 11 at Minnesota Vikings
For the first eight games of his NFL career, Noah Fant totaled just 185 yards. In the win over the Browns two weeks ago he caught three passes for 115 yards, including a 75-yard score. Now that Brandon Allen is the Denver QB, Fant may become a bigger part of the passing attack to help the inexperienced signal-caller. The matchup on Sunday is tough though, on the road in a hostile environment against the No. 13 overall Vikings defense.

DEN TE Noah Fant - Week 9 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 9 vs. Cleveland Browns
After a rough game two weeks ago, Noah Fant rebounded last Sunday at Indianapolis to receive a team-high eight targets, catching a career-high five passes for 26 yards. With Brandon Allen under center for the Broncos this week, he may look to his TE as a safety valve. However, Fant hasn’t done enough during his rookie campaign to warrant a fantasy start.

DEN TE Noah Fant - Week 8 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 8 at Indianapolis Colts
It was another disappointing game for Noah Fant last Thursday versus the Chiefs. He finished with just a seven-yard reception but had three crucial drops that could have accounted for over 100 yards. Between the Broncos ineffective offense and the rookie’s own struggles, Fant isn’t worthy of being a part of your fantasy starting lineup.

DEN TE Noah Fant - Week 7 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 7 vs. Kansas City Chiefs
The Broncos offense didn’t need to do too much versus Tennessee last week, as Joe Flacco threw for only 177 yards. In the shutout win, Noah Fant received three looks, resulting in two receptions for 16 yards. The rookie was targeted on a deep pass but had the ball hit him in the back which turned into an interception. Fant has just 14 catches and one TD through the first six games. Right now, he’s not a big enough part of the Denver passing attack to warrant a fantasy start.

DEN TE Noah Fant - Week 6 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 6 vs. Tennessee Titans
It was another quiet game for Noah Fant last Sunday versus the Chargers. On just one look from Joe Flacco, he finished with a six-yard reception. The rookie has had more than three grabs in a game only once and is averaging 27 receiving yards per outing. While he scored two weeks ago at home, Fant remains a TE2 option.

DEN TE Noah Fant - Week 5 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 5 at Los Angeles Chargers
In the heartbreaking loss to Jacksonville last Sunday, Noah Fant caught only two passes for 31 yards but scored his first NFL touchdown. The 25-yard TD came in the first quarter on a screen that took some time to develop and required a couple of Jaguar missed tackles. In his first month as a pro, Fant has recorded at least two receptions in each outing, totaling 11 grabs for 130 yards. The Broncos figure to be playing from behind in most of their games, which likely means more passing plays. However, the rookie is a risky fantasy start.

DEN TE Noah Fant - Week 4 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 4 vs. Jacksonville Jaguars
The Packers limited Joe Flacco to 213 yards last week, with Noah Fant snagging three passes for 37 yards. The rookie also lost a fumble. In his first three contests, Fant has made the most of his 11 targets, netting nine receptions but for just 99 yards. Keep Fant on your bench at home versus the Jaguars.
